  1. The program has some growing pains as it is fairly new but overall the course material and on-line environment have been great. I feel it's really hard to find clinical sites, some of my classmates work in hospital systems that will place students in clinicals which makes this program so much easier. I have been working in home health not affiliated with a hospital system so I do not have that advantage. The clinicals I have gotten so far have been because someone I know has had an "in", so network as much as you can.
  2. I go to spring arbor university, on line program. Indiana has not been the easiest place to find any of my clinicals, that's why I listed FL and PA as well (I know people I can stay with in both locations). At this point I almost wish I would have pursued a different career, it is very disheartening.
  3. Thank you so much for the information and advice. I appreciate it and congratulations on completing your degree.
  4. Hello, I am a second year FNP student looking for clinical placements (125 hours each) in OB/GYN and Pediatrics. My preceptor must be a NP, MD or DO with at least 1 year of experience. I am willing to compensate up to $500. I live in Indianapolis but can also stay near Pittsburgh, PA, or Melbourne, FL. If you know any one who fits this criteria and is willing to accept a student please let me know. I am desperate and my school has been absolutely NO help.
