No, NOT getting the job you really wanted after interviewing is the worst!! But it ended up being for the better. Guess that's life. Hope you get the job! If not, it wasn't meant to be (keep telling yourself that over & over!)

Good luck. I know that feeling and the feeling of not getting the call. Ever. Ugh. Hope you have a different result and get that good call.

Oh, ladies. You are young yet! Waiting to find out if the sentinel lymph node was malignant is the worst. Waiting to find out if you have clean margins is the worst. Waiting to find out if your last remaining sibling is a bone marrow match with your daughter is the worst. Waiting to hear if the medical transport helicopter that crashed is the one your husband is on is the worst. Waiting to find out if your father survived his heart attack is the worst. Heimliching your husband and having him lose consciousness is the worst.

A job? That's important, but not the most important thing in your life. At least, I hope not!

What you say is true. I am not young, though. Mid forties here! Been through a lot of that myself. Unfortunately, not having a good job makes all those things that much worse. SaraStrong, I hope you won't keep us in suspense! Good luck again.

Oh my.. You all have some great points! Well, I am still waiting. I got an encouraging email from the nurse manager saying that they are "very interested" in me, but have several other interviews this coming week and so won't be able to let me know anything until the 13th. She said she would get back to me regardless of her decision. Fingers crossed!
