I usually work 44, though it depends on the school calendar. I also take call (for a week) once a month.

Well....it depends on which specialty I'm covering for call and whether or not I'm covering nights as well. Last week I worked 72 hours...give or take a couple hours or so.
I am only scheduled for 40.
I just happen to be insane.
And money hungry.
And a workaholic.
Did I mention insane?
Right then.

It depends on what's going on. I have 4 jobs, 1 f/t, 1 contingent, 1 as Adjunct faculty and another job in education.
Short week: 40 hrs
Medium week: 52 hours
Long week: 64 hours
Longest week: 82 hours, I think.
I'm also on call with the f/t job 24/7 and have been for the last 7 months. I don't see that changing anytime soon.
I'm also not counting time outside spent grading, etc.

Only 4 hours instead of our usual 12. Used to make fun of people that dont want to stay a whole shift ha.

Scheduled for 40, but have to take call. Last week I ended up working about 60-62 hours. Most weeks aren't that bad though. Average usually ends up being somewhere between 40-45.

Scheduled for 40, but it never fails that a red trauma comes through my pager at 1700 (it's trauma season), so I don't leave until things have been settled. I have been averaging 50 hours for the past few months.

I'm scheduled for 40 but I typically work closer to 50 because my job is next to impossible to finish in 8 hours.
