I know that, as nurses, you deal with alot of (r@p. You deal with patients who are needy, patients that are dieing, and their families and all that entails. I just wanted to say THANK YOU! Thank you for caring, thank you for taking that extra five minutes to actually listen to your patient. It really means alot to us (at least some of us, there will always be those people who are never satisfied).

Remember...It is appreciated.

So nice of you to think of 'us.' :) :)

I'm glad you've had some good caregivers (I know you've also had some who didn't measure up!)!

It is good to hear a compliment now and then. :)

Thank you.

Originally that is why I joined here. The science and I did not get along. Now I am working toward becoming what is called a child life specialist which is a person who helps kids through being in the hospital.

Thank you.

I have had a couple who I did not appreciate their care. However, the vast majority treated me with amazing respect, dignity, and care.

Most of the nurses on here, I would be so happy to be in their care.

You will help so many kids. When I was 8 I had to have surgery and there was this person that came in and talked to me not a nurse, maybe along the lines of what you described she help ease my anxiety to much.

Thank you so much for your OP.
