Your monitoring program allow whipits?

Published

Does your monitoring program allow you to use whipits? I will confess to using whipits during monitoring. For those who don't know, they aren't addictive.

Do you, or have you ever used, whip its? Does your monitoring program forbid them?

Oh good lord. How juvenile. I'm laughing so hard here.

And besides what a waste of whipped cream. Now I'm not laughing here.

I was thinking the same thing. Forget the nitrous, I'll just eat the whipped cream!

You're kidding right?

I'm not even in this boat for addiction issues and that sounds like a very bad idea to me. Do not under any circumstances try to game this system. You will get caught and it will not be good.

you could also make your own whipped cream. Beating the heck out of something is a great way to blow off steam. And hey, there's whipped cream at the end! Pass the strawberries please. ;-)

I will say I rather like having the nitrous oxide during dental procedures as it helps keep me calm, but I don't think I would care to feel that way just for the heck of it.

But it would be deserved, just for 'stupid' points alone, let alone relapse.

As a whipped cream lover, that was my first thought.

I honestly didn't know anyone over the age of 12 did whip its. This is something middle school kids do. If an adult, especially one in recovery, is doing it, it's a sign of a significant problem, IMO.

I used to have a whipped cream maker - the one where you put in heavy whipping cream and use one of these chargers to well, whip it.

I thought it was cool and was great having fresh whipped cream with natural ingredients.

That said, I remember those chargers being awfully expensive!

Guess I couldn't afford to get high even if I had the inclination to do so.

I respect those in recovery because I can only imagine how difficult it must be.

However I have trouble finding much respect for OP.

Gosh I'm old...I had NO idea what that was until I clicked on this thread. Sounds like a perfectly ridiculous way to ruin a good can of whipped cream to me.

Between this thread and the one on encouraging everyone to doll up like supermodels in the ICU, I'm starting to think the OP may be hitting the cans a little too often ...
