This is an interesting elementary school site and I'm really happy here. We have 3 classes of mod/severe SDC kiddos and other students with serious medical concerns. I frequently have my hands full. However, the #1 reason for students coming in my office is The Vague Stomachache, a.k.a "I can't poop." Wish I had a magic wand for that one. Poof! Go use my restroom! What would you use you magic wand for lately, friends?

I can relate! But I think I need xray vision more... deal with emotionally disturbed kids who are always punching walls , etc. "Is my hand broken?" I don't know ..let me power up my xray vision and I'll let you know...

Can the wand take away the kids cell phones so they can't call their parents?

My magic wand would be used to make some parents disappear, and replace them with parents who care enough about the children that are under their care to step up to the plate. Or, just put the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline number on speed dial. Geeeeee.
I'm sorry. Here I am complaining about the over involved hand holding (smothering) parents and yea, there is the other extreme as well.
I'd also like to use the magic wand to make my office's potty self-flushing. Seriously.

I would *poof* away every frequent flyer as I see him/her approaching the clinic for the umpteenth time today.

HEADLICE, Teacher MD's, and rude parents... just to name a few!! But I would also use it to poof IN new phone numbers for the parent numbers that have been disconnected since the beginning of the year!!

I think that I would use the magic wand to lock and unlock my cabinets so we still have gloves even after last night's bake sale.

I think I agree with the OP, I'd most use it for the vague "I don't feel good." Colds, ate too much at lunch, need to poop, runny nose . . . all of it GONE! Poof!
Actually I spend a lot of time secretly wishing I was Madam Pomfrey from Harry Potter and could use Pepper-Up Potion or chocolate bars to make kids feel better.

To poof away the over invested (on an unhealthy level) parents. The parent who sits in a MS to HS transition meeting and slams her hand on the table while stating:
S/he is SOOOOOO going to have anxiety in HS, mark my words!!!!
S/he will NEVER be able to take XYZ class...ever.!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not allowing for any change or growth over the summer leading into HS or what ever may transpire in HS, which as we all know is a HUGE time of growth, physically and emotionally.
Who wants every accommodation in the world, especially ones that allow the child to essentially do nothing academically, but participate in any extracurricular activity that pleases the child.....
