When a friend dies and you keep working, because a good CNA knows you care about everyone in your care. Other professions would have time off, counseling, we keep going because what we do matters to more than just one.

(Yeah I'm in a mood. lol a resident I cared about passed two days after leaving last month for assisted living. But his wife brought us in chocolates with a note he wrote saying thanks. sad but also heartwarming, and well sad!)

Valcorie: always have to find humor in the little things, but in most cases the not so little things haha!

When the smell of poop doesn't even phase you or when you make your bed at home the same way it is done at the hospital.
