Hey all,

I'd just like to ask for everyone's good thoughts for next Monday. I have an interview for an ICU position at my hospital.

Don't get me wrong....I LOVE my position in the OR. I have made a decision to change my path and get experience in the ICU because I'm interested in pursuing CRNA. Our ICU posted two positions for 0645 PM to 0715 AM....experience preferred...WILLING TO TRAIN.

I just graduated last May, so I would be on the level of a new grad....but I have my RN license and experience in surgery. Hopefully that will be a plus.

Good luck Anne. A friend of mine just accepted to CRNA school in Richmond. He was also originally in OR as new grad and switched to ICU for a year to get into CRNA school too. It can be done! :)
