Air goes in and out, blood goes round and round, any variation on this is a bad thing.

If ONLY I had known this in pathophysiology! :D

You're probably familiar with the quote "Time heals all wounds".

Several years ago, when I was having a problem with plantar fasciitis, while researching the problem, I ran across an article titled, you guessed it...

"Time Wounds All Heels."

About 30 years ago, I was called into the director's office for failure to perform a task that I or none of the other nurses cared to do. The director went over how important this task was, that we all needed to do it, and in the end he said,

"You don't have to like it, you only have to do it".

I could get behind that.

From my flight instructor when I was learning how to fly:

“Is this the hill you want to die on?”

And for my fellow flight folk...

”3 to say go, one to say no”.

Yes!

Your flight instructor's Wise One Liner reminds me of one of Charles Schultz's Peanuts comic:

When my children were young and asked "how was work?" I would reply, "No one fell and no one died.  It was a good day."

Or, on a bad day you could say...
