Who's Zoomin' Who?

Okay ya'll, tell me what you think about this. One male nurse at LTC facility, involved with 4 female staff members who all work the same shift. :nono: The supervisor (RN), the LPN that assists him on his hall, and 2 CNA's. Usually, I'm pretty much one to think "to each his own". However, I think think this situation is going to end up with someone hurt. :chair: So many crazy things happen at this place, I don't even know why it fazes me. But his relationship with the CNA that works my hall is screwing up her job performance. She is so worried about what he's doing and who he's interacting with she can't get her job done. She left today without getting any vital signs or charting input/output. She's frequently talking about how she's gonna beat the supervisor's a@# if she catches them together. She knows about him and the supervisor, but none of the others know about each other (if that makes any sense). I don't know what this man has that is so good. But to get to the point, it's like going to a soap opera every weekend instead of work. I still love my job; it's kind of interesting to watch this all unfold. There is no professionalism anywhere. Today was one of those days where I just didn't feel like a nurse at all. It amazes me what people are willing to sacrifice in order to get their groove on. I can't tell the supervisor about this CNA's job peformance because he's seeing her too. I think this matter is going to have to go to the administrator, it's too much for me to handle anymore:confused: . Any advice?

All I can say about this guy is "Ick"!

Peyton Place?

Lordy I was thinking the same thing...and I hate working in facilities like this.

O.K. ya'll, just wanted to give you an update on the situation at work. Gigalo boy has decided to date the supervisor exclusively. Well, last weekend her car got keyed up, BAD. How childish! I don't care what transpires between people, but my God don't mess with their car! As a supervisor, she is pretty good. I think most women are intimidated because she has a "risque" past, (stripper with a boob job, failed marriages) but I know I am not one to judge. I swear, something ugly is going to happen. And I don't think any of these women are going to back down.:uhoh21: It would be my luck if I spilled the beans I would not have a job.

Is there not a rule where employees cannot date the boss? If not there SHOULD be!

(And that boy needs to keep his brain zipped up)

Your stories of the Romeo nurses reminds me of nursing school...I had 5 guys in my class and they were ALL the Romeo types...in fact I think they went to nursing school just to be around as many women as possible to increase the liklihood of 'conquests'. One of them was married and STILL trying to fool around with anyone who would...:(

Ah well whoever said nurses were perfect was wrong...we are a very human group and we will find all types won't we. LOL.

Wow. I would not have the time to devote to that much chasing. Did all 5 make it thru school?

Instead of "General Hospital" it's "General Nursing Home."

OMG,, should we expect any more from a ex-stripper with a boob job loser?

Get out of there quick and dont look back. Not so sure if i actually knew people whos family member lived there that i wouldnt clue them in on the type of CARE their relative was getting. After i got out of course.

This guy makes my skin crawl! He really doesn't have to work for a living because he owns his own businesses and owns lots of property. Drives a nice car. But I do think his sole purpose of nursing is to find women. That's so sad! His residents roll around the facility in their wheelchairs smelly and wet, acting up. And lo and behold! Don't ask the supervisor because she ain't gonna say nothing. I'm just lucky I can handle my own people, pretty much without the help of my supervisor. I do think this situation will eventually die, because everybody hates this woman. Maybe I've just been sheltered all my life, but this is just a nursing home. When I finish school the second go round and start working in a hospital, is it going to be worse? What happened to morality and just being a good nurse? Makes me really wonder is I'm prepared to handle some of the things nursing has to offer...thanx for reading...

If his residents are smelly and wet constantly, that's a reg flag of neglet.

The (oh-so-prego) wife of the philanderer came to the facility one day, and I just LOVED seeing him paying attention to HER. The look on the "O.W.'s" face really was priceless.

I too worked in a situation where the prego wife came in. The LNA and CNA who he was fooling around with were stunned to find he had a wife. On that same night they both became aware that each was having an afair with the louse. The CNA was so embarassed , she quit. The LPN got found out that she had not been giving her meds, only faking it, as she was too busy doing the nasty at work. She got fired. The louse found someone else to cheat with at work. The wife left him shortly after the baby was born. The whole sordid mess was so disgusting, I quit and found a job where professionals conduct themselves like professionals, and not a bunch of alley cats.
