Who's doing Nursing School with a kid?

I have one son, who will be two in June, I start in August. I can't believe he'll be almost four when I'm done!

I'm not in nursing school yet. I am still taking my prereqs. It helps to have a support group/family. My school offers night time and weekend clinicals in the spring and daytime weekday clinicals in the fall. So I am going to wait another semester so I can do the night time clinicals. The grandparents will be able to watch my dd. She will be 2 in December, 5 when I graduate. After I graduate I don't think I will go to work full time. I think I will do the online RN to BSN and maybe work per diem or something. The online only takes a year if you do it full time. This way I can go to school at nights/weekends/online and I don't have to commute 1 hour to the full time day only BSN programs.

I will be in nursing school this sept. and I finished all my prereqs with straight A's. A+P I&II etc. the passion for being a nurse will help u thru everything. I have a 3yr old and a 2yr old. I get a little help from my mom and I do get daycare assistance because I am not working right now. PM me if u need any help or info.

I'm doing nursing school with FOUR kids. When I started prereq's my youngest had just turned 2, my oldest was 10. They are now 6, 9, 13, 15 in 3 different schools-I graduate in less than 3 months. It's not easy by any means, but it is doable. I hope you have alot of family/friends to help you out. Good luck and have fun

My son is 17 (a HS junior). After he graduates and goes off to college I'll have one more semester!!Him and his dad are pretty supportive especially since my clinicals run at dinnertime.

I start nursing school in the Fall too. I've got two rugrats and, while I'm married, my dh is deployed overseas. He returns at the end of the year, so I'm scared to death of starting nursing school and being a temporary single parent without any physical/emotional support from him :(

I'm doing it with 2 kids...11 and 8. One of my classmates is doing it w/ four. We have had two have a baby. Its possible!

I have an 11yo son, and 2 daughters ages 10 & 8 and every thursday for 2 hrs I have anywhere from 10-23 girl scouts lolol
