I have been trying to find white bobby pins to secure a nursing cap. I have found places where I can order them from sites that make Christian Hair Coverings; however, there isn't anything else that I am interested in ordering and would have to pay $5 to ship a card of bobby pins.
Does anyone know where I can purchase White bobby pins online? Maybe a uniform or nursing supply place? A beauty supply place? Where I might find something else to order since I will have to pay for shipping?
Help!

I would try a local beauty supply store. When I got married I went there to find bobby pins in my hair color and they had almost every color available.

A beauty supply store was the last place i saw them sold.
When i needed 2 for my capping, i just put 2 regular ones on a piece of cardboard, took it outside and spray painted them white.

I have found them at craft stores in the wedding section (for veils!)....
But a money saving idea....get regular bobby pins, spray them yourself with metal paint (sold in hardware stores...like Rustolium!). All you need is wax paper (put that down for drying..newspaper clings!) and the spray! Then you have tons! :)
For even additional help against chipping paint (which happens on the ones you buy anyway!)...use a clear coat over the white!
AND in case you like to have fun...you can glue gun or super glue a cute charm to the ends...like a nursing symbol :)

Many schools have students wear traditional white uniforms and caps at graduation. I was looking at photos at my school of past classes the other day. Not everyone wore a cap, but I can see the appeal.

You could possibly check at a christian supply store if there is one in your area. We have one at our mall that sales communion veils and things like that and they have the white bobby pins.

I recently went to Asia and the nurses there still wear a traditional white cap and dress uniform for work!!!!! They also have white pants and a maternity uniform too!! What a culture shock!! Interesting.

Maybe a bridal shop? I haven't worn a cap since graduation in 1988, but we had to wear them all through training. They were a pain, always getting in the way.
