Snow, sub-zero temps, more snow, more cold! Who else is tired of winter? Will spring never come? Share your thoughts.

It's been an unbelievable harsh winter here too....not to mention the past few shifts have been crazy since our unit manager has not been replaced yet!

Our usual winter RSV season never materialized. Very strange. So we've had lots and lots and lots of unpaid days off. Plenty of time to 'enjoy' the winter wonderland. Not.

There are tiny little leaves on the tops of the trees in my yard. YAY!!

The Easter lilies are pushing up through the piles of leaves on the hill.

Once the sun comes up, it pretty much heats the house up without the furnace on. There are optimistic idiots everywhere, wearing shorts and flip flops in 40 degree weather.

Spring is almost here.

We just had our last cold snap here today- trees have been trying mighty hard to bloom over successive bouts of ice, sleet and snow. My garden's been delayed by several weeks. Winter is like the worst unwelcome houseguest at this point!

I want to see the beautiful flowering cherry trees in Washington DC, esp the double flowered japanese cherry trees. Also some beautiful chinese purple wisteria. I wonder if they will bloom this year or if the buds are frozen from this cold crazy winter! I miss all the spring flowers!

Hi Brian: I know you may be shocked by me saying this but I love the cold. Maybe not so much the type of winters of sub-zero temperatures that much of the country is suffering from. But you can always cover up to get warm, but you can only take off so much when it is hot!!

I do sympathize with those who have had a very hard winter. Spring is around the corner!!
