Wondering if everyone besides me is on vacation???? We have school on Presidents Day because our vacation in next week. If you are all off, I hope you have a great day.

Don't you be worrying about me, I will be fine!!!

I will hold the fort down.

I will do those lice checks.

I will just be all by my lonesome...:cry:

I come home and my mom's nose cast is dangling off of her face because she has been scratching and playing with it. This is her second nose surgery cause she messed around with the first nose cast and also developed an infection cause she didn't take antibiotics. I had to force my dad to take her to the doctor's. I swear, she is worse than some of my kids!

She had a septoplasty and had a plastic cast on her nose to keep it aligned and to reduce swelling

They want to rub lavender oil on my toes. They swear it helps with headaches.

My advise is to agree to that and report back to us.

I've back from Vegas. Still poor, of course. Learned I love the East Cost even more, despite its winter. And that I am very glad we have open container laws here.

And red eye flights suck. Especially when on the way to Las Vegas, you spent 4 hours on the tarmac before taking off, turning your flight into an East to West Coast red eye. Or maybe I'm just old.

No hiding in the corner allowed. We need each other here. We all understand the crazy we get from kids, parents, physicians, teachers, administration, etc. and as we have seen here a few times recently, some others have trouble understanding what we do and how. That's ok but we need each other to bounce things off of and keep us sane!
