When studying, when is enough, enough?

I have been studying for my TEAS test for 2 weeks now. Hard core studying for the past 5 days. Every time I think I have one thing down pat I can think of 50 more that I have to brush up on or teach myself all together! My test is Friday, it is now Wednesday night. When do I say enough is enough? If I don't know it now will I ever?:banghead:

One of the best study skills to have is knowing when to stop. Your brain can only take-in so much. You need to give it time to process what you put into it. If you don't know info by now, I doubt you will have a miraculous break-through in the next 48 hours. Take the time from now until the test off. It's well deserved.

Thank you! I know I should just go to bed but I feel so guilty doing so. I guess I did as much as I could and I'll leave the rest up to God. Thanks for the tips!:loveya:

I stop when my brain feels like it's about ready to explode. If I had a few more days until a test but felt pretty well covered, I'd probably review a bit each day to just keep things in my mind but not do quite the same hard press as I'd been doing.

So much of the TEAS is just review. I kept doing math drills a couple times a day everyday until the test. The study part - where I was reviewing "long lost info" or totally new stuff, was stopped a day or two before. I knew I couldn't fit any more in. I wasn't really learning at that point and I didn't want to fluster myself. My main concern was being fast enough for the math computations, and that just took practice, like 3rd grade! I think my speed improved right until the end.

Good luck, you are almost there!

When instead of 50 things you need to brush up on, there are none. No point in stopping before.

it is enought wwhen you feel it is wenough, push your self, charge up those brain cells, and do your best! it is worth it!

just dont over do, and study the hard parts! dont bang your head to much on things you already know, explore the unknown!
