  1. You will do fine. Important to relax and take your time on the reading and english, because you are given alot of time for it. Time yourself at home when doing math problems so you are used to doing them on a limit. Science all you can do is read and try to absorb as best as you can. Believe it or not I guessed on alot of science questions and got them right. Just jnarrow down answers. You will do great!! Think like you already passed the test!!! Congrats!!
  2. I took A&P 1 and 2 a couple of semesters ago. Math as well. I still had to brush up. If your taking the ATI teas study Math because there was only one A&P question on the test.
  3. You will do just fine. Just relax and be positive
  4. Hey Cancergirl24 thank you for your congrats! I feel so relieved now that its over and done with. Now the real fun begins. You will do fine. Things to know are math, science, reading and english. You have to know algebra, metric conversions are important, ratio and proportion, decimals, fractions and a little geometry. Area of a circle, circumference of a circle, area of a triangle, area of a right traingle, etc... . I got a math tutor to help me a month before the test. The study guide helps also, and the online questions on testprepreview. com. Know your chemical and physical science, life science, and a little bit of basic physics. Reading is a lot of comprehension and reading graphs and maps. English you would think is easy but brush up and puncuations, sentence structure, spelling, and contextual words. Relax, relax, relax! Time yourself on math questions so you can get used to doing them under a time limit. Make sure you complete all the math and don't run out of time. Give youself a min. per question, this way you may have some time left to go back and check your answers. Hope this helps a bit. Always stay positive! Put it in your mind that you already passed!:redbeathe
  5. I passed the teas test today! I studied so hard. This was my second time (only allowed 2 times) so if I didn't pass I would have to wait until Jan instead of Sept. AHHHHHHH!!!! What a relief.
  6. Do you know what entrance exam you will be taking? Mostly they are all pretty much the same I think. You need to know algebra, fractions, decimals, ratio and proprtions and especially mertic conversions. You need to know that there are 12 inches in a foot, 3 feet in a yard, 16 oz. in a pound, 8 oz in a cup, 2 cps in a pint, and 2 pints in a quart and so on. Reading is alot of comprehension. Any reading course will help you speed up your reading and understand at the same time. Try reading leisure books this summer to work out your brain and speed up your reading. You literally have to exersise your mind and train it, like the body, to read faster and understand what you are reading. Good luck!
  7. Thanks so much!
  8. I took my Teas test today and I failed. I have one more chance to take it on June 20th. I got a 46% on the Math and I needed a 63%. I got a 63% on the science and needed a 67%. I had 60 mins. to answer 55 math questions and only finished 35. The computer just shut off and went to the next section! If I fail it the second time I have to wait another semester to re-apply and take it over again! Any advice? Anyone else have the same problem?
  9. Thank you! I know I should just go to bed but I feel so guilty doing so. I guess I did as much as I could and I'll leave the rest up to God. Thanks for the tips!:loveya:
  10. I have been studying for my TEAS test for 2 weeks now. Hard core studying for the past 5 days. Every time I think I have one thing down pat I can think of 50 more that I have to brush up on or teach myself all together! My test is Friday, it is now Wednesday night. When do I say enough is enough? If I don't know it now will I ever?
  11. THANK YOU ALL!!!! 2 days left and its test day! I have thought about all of your kind advice and I think its really all going to help some. :kiss
  12. :uhoh21:Hello all! I am taking my Teas test on Friday and I am very scared. I have been studying for almost 2 weeks now and still feel like there is so much I need to study. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to eat or drink the morning of the test that will help with concentration? I need all the help I can get!:heartbeat
