What's the funniest most unusual baby name?

Nurses Humor Nursing Q/A

As many of you know by now, Kim Kardashian had her baby. As if you couldn't miss all the annoying coverage over every single detail. They named that poor kid North West. What are some of the funniest/weirdest/most unusual baby names you have seen? Could be a patient or someone you know in your personal life. And if you are someone with one of those odd names did you just learn to live with it or would you change it.

I've got sooo many. I was a L&D nurse for 5yrs, then Peds for 10. There are many that have already made their way around, but here are some of our faves from my coworkers & me. (They actually started keeping a list taped on the wall in the records room!)

1) Lemonjelo & orangelo = lemon jello orange jello

2) Honnesity = which mom wanted pronounced honesty

3) Abcde= which mom wanted pronounced absiddie

4) Nemesis= Really mom? Did she know what that meant??

5) Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan= Siblings

6) Shitass & *******= Twins who were referred to social services before they were d/c'd, but mom claimed were "Ethnic" names pronounces Sh'toss & a'sholie. Honest to God- I'm not making that up.

7) Andrea & Andrea= Twins who mom said was pronounced An-draya & On-dreeya.

So many names, so little time.

*** Translation of those names = Not only am I an idiot, I am an idiot who hates my own children and I want to make sure they have as little chance in life as possible.

Urban legends are all OVER this board. Some going back ten, fifteen years based on my own memory!

Considering the sheer number of people who claim to have personal knowledge of some absolutely ridiculous name(s), wouldn't you think at some point these "babies" will have gone to school, be out in the world? And yet people who have researched this EXACT question have found that no, there are no birth records with these names, schools do not have students with these names, etc etc.

No evidence exists of anyone with a legitimate birth certificate for ***. Really.

I just took a look at Snopes.com, and found some of it traces back to racist jokes early in the 20th century....it was apparently funny to think that the poor ignorant black woman didn't know what the word "lady parts" or "meconium" or "eczema" was and it was good for a laugh.

Until some school can show the birth certificate for enrolled students and point to a set of twins they correctly identify as Lemonjello and Orangello, LOL, I won't buy it!

There are enough funny real names with out saying the same urban legends over and over again. There are already about 5 sets of the jello twins on this thread already ?

I met a woman in mississippi named URETHRA. I simply could NOT ask her how she pronounced it.

My husband worked with a woman who took various syllables and put them to together for names.. for examble: using the words, per our terms of service.... the name might be "Perouter". She had several kids and they were all named this way.

Pistol for a baby girl. My husband's exwife named her daughter that 17 years ago. She said it was because she was such a pistol in utero...........

Was that a Kardashian wannabe, perchance? Kashmoney Kardashian actually sounds better than North West.

I had to sign up just to share mine!

Gods Loving Kindness. (not even kidding) She had a sibling who was named with a similiar religious phrase and the JW parents didn't want it shortened. I often wondered if they changed their names when they grew up. Poor kids.

Twins named T'nay and T'naya (boy and girl) What, you couldn't think of TWO names??

Twins with the last name of Alexander. First names: Brandy and Champagne

HARRY GROSSBAWL......
