What keeps you going?
I carry a copy of the little engine that could in my back pack.
I think I can, I think I can
Another I like
Just keep swimming , swimming
What are yours?

My mantra is "one day at a time"
Feeling overwhelmed? Remember the old riddle. "how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

I LOVE the book, "Oh, the Places You'll Go! and my favorite line from it:
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...”
― Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Places You'll Go!
My first semester lab teachers kept this book in our classroom and would read it when we needed a pick-me-up!

When I get stressed or overwhelmed I stop and tell myself "just breathe." It works for me :)
