What's everyone taking this fall?

Published

I'm just curious, what everyone is taking this fall.

I'm taking Bio., Psyc., and I'm on the waiting list for English comp. I haven't been is school for a 7 years, and I remember liking bio., but I don't remember much about it, should I be concerned, or will they start with the basics? Also I HATED english is HS, so I'm concerned about that class too. Has any one had Eng. Comp. yet? What should I expect?

I am taking A&P II and Mircro next semester. Hopefully I will do good since I will be applying to the program for Fall 2007

I'm taking Gen Chemistry, Sociology and the Basic CNA course we have to take. Then all I have are Micro, and my Anatomy classes.

i'm taking rhetoric and composition 1 basically english comp which is required for the lpn program here where i live.i'm also taking introduction to computers, and computational math. when i took my assessment test i passed the math part but i passed with a low score. and the person giving the test recommended that i take the computational math class.:)

I only need 2 more classes other than Nursing.

I am taking Intercultural Communications this Fall online and then next Spring, Micro. Hopefully starting Nursing next Fall if I get in.

i'm taking a&p i, which should be very, very interesting (yeah right), intro to psych (don't know about that one) and a elective, chose a real estate class, go figure....

i took a&p last spring (2005) and i loved it!! it's much better than biology!! it was just very interesting to me to see how the body worked together. things you've just never thought of!! i think you really will like it if your going into the nursing field!

Specializes in Hospice Volunteer.

I am taking Introduction to Chemistry and Traditional Chinese Medicine online.

I am also taking Human Biology, Human Sexuality, Biology of HIV, and Workplace Communication Skills.

How has Chemistry been for everyone who has taken it? I'm scared of Chemistry. I'm gonna study my ass off!

Hey, good luck to ALL of you! and to me!

P.S. Thanks for the Chemistry comments (below), Imm1019! I dropped Human Biology this morning because 21 credits is too much, now I have 17, and that's still a lot, but I can't wait!

Chemistry was remembering a lot of formulas. Definitely study those!! But all in all, I did well in Chemistry and was surprised!! As long as you know the formulas and which ones to use to figure out what, you should be good!

I'm done with all my support classes. I'm in a waiting list for my clinical which I'm not starting in Fall so I'm planning to take nutrition class. I heard it's helpful in nursing courses as well as it's one of the pre-requisite for BSN.

I'm taking Microbiology (again, I have a bio degree but I took the class over 8 years ago), Human Nutrition, Developmental Psychology, and Intor to Forensics (for fun). I am also thinking of taking A&P I, online.

Hello, my name is AJ. For awhile I've been looking at this website, and I have to say there's a lot of interesting stuff on it. I'm taking my prerequisites right now to get into the RN program. This fall I'm taking Human Anatomy, Pre-Algebra, and English 2. It's scary from time to time because a lot of people try to discourage me. I try not to let it get to me, but sometimes it does. Did anyone ever tell any of you that what you're doing is a big mistake? I'm really glad I joined this website, and I can't wait to hear peoples views on classes and so forth. Good luck to everyone this fall.:)

Specializes in maybe L&D or NICU.

We're all getting closer!! Summer term has gone by so fast for me! I finally finished all my math and psych classes...WOOHOO!!! For fall I am taking Spanish 1 which should be very easy since I took 4 years in HS, Chemistry 104+Lab, and Prenatal, Infant, and Toddler development. I am also thinking of taking a class called Handling the Violent Client, which might be helpful:) Good luck everyone!!!
