I got denied today on the website. It also said they'd send me a letter with reason(s) I was denied. I guess I keep volunteering and take the prerequisites for Samuel Meritt's Program and also apply to USF, and try again for SFSU. Kinda bummed, but the odds are pretty high that one gets rejected, unfortunately. Good luck for all you others on this journey!

Best of luck definitely. I bet by next Friday most of us will know. I know that's another week, but I have a feeling that it'll take 'em another little while. I plan on applying to USF in September if I get denied. Unfortunately, this is the only app I've got going. so. much. anticipation.

Wow, this is so nerve wracking. I wonder how many applicants they had? I couldn't find that out. This wait is so hard! When I talked to them on the 27th, I heard that they were still behind and not sure if letters were being sent out yet. I'm scared

So they go out today through Friday. I'm dying here, and scared to know, too. It's a crazy and exciting, dread feeling all at the same time.

I talked to someone at the office today. They started sending out letters today and they will keep doing that, in batches, until the end of the month. The waiting game is KILLING ME!!!:uhoh21:

I've had success with asking with at least a month in advance and giving a deadline. I also ask for a copy of the letter, and I give the person writing a list of things I am proud of, some notable things I have done or am doing. I write them a letter telling them why I have chosen them, things that I admire them, and what I have learned from them. When I ask for the letter (in person), I ask them if they truly feel that they can write me a GOOD letter of recommendation, and I say it like that, emphasizing the GOOD. Sometimes I go as far as to say that I understand if they might not feel like they can honestly write a good one and to let me know how they feel. That has worked for me, so far. If I haven't heard back after two and a half weeks, I find them in person. That sucks that you're having a hard time. I hope that there's something I do that you can use and good luck getting a great one!
