What's everyone taking this fall?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I'm just curious, what everyone is taking this fall.

I'm taking Bio., Psyc., and I'm on the waiting list for English comp. I haven't been is school for a 7 years, and I remember liking bio., but I don't remember much about it, should I be concerned, or will they start with the basics? Also I HATED english is HS, so I'm concerned about that class too. Has any one had Eng. Comp. yet? What should I expect?

I'm taking Bio (Aced it 10 yrs ago, realized I need to retake it for my own good, since it's been so long, I don't want to be lost), Developmental Pscyh. online, English comp. online, and enrolled in a CNA program. I thought I had done the English comp. until yesterday, but imagine my dismay when I went through my transcripts from my 1st degree and saw I only took intro lit. and comp. as one class, then Arthurian Legends, Shakespeare, Theatre Texts, but nothing that would meet the comp prerequisite.:o

I'm taking Bio w/ lab, marriage & family, college algebra :uhoh3:, world history, and speech:chair: . It should be interesting. I graduated with a BBA in 02'. Haven't been in a classroom in a long time. Hopefully it will come back to me pretty easily. Good luck to all!!!

I'm taking Anatomy and Chemistry. I haven't been in school in over 8 years, so I'm a little nervous ... but also excited.

I have 6 pre-req classes to take, so this fall will be the first two ... Then 2 in the spring (plus the 1-hr Nursing Trends course that is required) ... Then 2 more in the summer.

I hope I will get into clinicals next fall ... that would be awesome. But I've got to get through the above-mentioned classes first and foremost!

Best wishes to everyone! :)

Thanks guys. I'm sorry for the re-thread I saw the other "class" thread after I made this one. Good Luck to all of us. WE CAN DO THIS! Soon we will all be nurses, and this stress will be a memory (to make way for the added stress of the job LOL)! WOOOOOHOOOO!

I'm taking Cell Biology for Health Occupation so I can get into my A&P classes. I'm just now going back to school and scared to take more than one class (I have a ton of general education pre-reqs done already)...but am considering doing Spanish I.

I still have to take Nutrition, A&P I-III, Algebra, Human Development and 2 semesters of a foreign language, I'm opting for Spanish.

I am taking Chemistry and Psychology. Trying to decide if I want to throw College Algebra in there too.

I'm taking A&P I and a CNA course. M-Th 8-noon CNA, M 6-9:40 A&P lecture, T 6-8 A&P lab. This should work out well because my son will be in pre-school in the mornings M-Th as well, and my hubby will be home for the night classes.

Nervous about starting my pre-req's! I already have all the computer/English done, as well as Algebra (I took it last winter - first class in 10 years!), so I just need the science pre-req's. Taking the CNA class to try to get a PT job at our local hospital for experience and tuition reimbursement.

taking... anatomy this will be my first science class since hs and i know absolutely nothing going into this class. M 12-6 the lab from 7-9. T psych human growth and development from 7-9. TH english comp. all three classes are part of my pre reqs this should keep me busy the whole semester.

Im taking cw1, med-surg2, pn issues et trends, nrsg seminar 1, et nrsg clinical 3.

I have completed all of my prereq's and will be taking Nursing 101 in the fall

Thanks guys. I'm sorry for the re-thread I saw the other "class" thread after I made this one.

No problem, I will repost....

I am done with pre-reqs and I will complete my last co-req at the end of Summer (2 more weeks). I have also already applied to a program and am waiting for acceptance for the Spring.

This Fall I am taking a dosage calculations course for the ADN program and a course on ethics as it relates to health care for the BSN program.

I have not decided as of yet if I will get my BSN, but since I am waiting around for admissions, I decided to sign up. I already have most BSN pre-reqs complete due to my previous degrees. Good luck to you too and everyone else!

I am taking General A & P and nursing pharmacology this fall and will start nursing classes in Jan. Three evenings a week. I just finished Dev. Psy. this summer hopefully with an A but have one paper to get graded yet. First class I've had in 19 years other than CNA last spring.

Good Luck everyone!
