What's everyone taking this fall?

Published

I'm just curious, what everyone is taking this fall.

I'm taking Bio., Psyc., and I'm on the waiting list for English comp. I haven't been is school for a 7 years, and I remember liking bio., but I don't remember much about it, should I be concerned, or will they start with the basics? Also I HATED english is HS, so I'm concerned about that class too. Has any one had Eng. Comp. yet? What should I expect?

I'm taking Concepts of Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology I, Math for Meds, Medical Terminology, and Ethics. The last two aren't required but I was determined to take a full load if at all possible.

I took Biology last semester and I really enjoyed it we started with the basics and it got more interesting as we went along. That could vary by school/instructor though. As for Comp I've already taken both the Comp I and Comp II that was required and I really enjoyed both of them. I had a great instructor so that definitely helped. We learned the different writing types and on average wrote a small paper every one - two weeks. Instead of taking a final we wrote research papers which I enjoyed. I think a lot of it depends on your instructor and your attitude, and Ithink you'll do just fine.

Best wishes for a great semester.

So far I'm taking my nursing fundamentals class, Anatomy and Physiology II, and an art class.

It's funny though because last semester I took Anatomy 209 and Physiology 206, so taking A&P II shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm sure some of the material will be new, but I'm guessing a lot of it will be material I've already become familiar with. Should be good.

The nursing fundamentals class will be my favorite class, although the most challenging. It meets for lecture twice a week for one hour each and then meets for lab twice a week for 3 hours each. So I'll be devoting 8 hours a week to one class that only meets twice a week.

I'll be a junior in college and I'm looking forward to this next semester more than any other semester in my college career. Probably because I'll be starting nursing school and I'm excited about meeting my class mates.

i'm taking a&p II, medical terminology, english (world literature), and nutrition.

i've already taken english comp. I and II, believe me it wasnt hard because i'm not big on writing papers but i made a b in both classes. in english comp. I, u do a lot of essays and a research paper and in english comp. II, u do more reading than writing, but be aware there are still the occasional essays and :angryfire a research paper.. i just told myself that i can get through it and thats what kept me going (during those paper writing sessions). well you'll do find, dont stress out too much!!!!

I've finally settled on my schedule so I'm not changing it anymore. I am taking Professionals In Health, Comp I, Basic Biological concepts, Microcomputer literacy and Sociology.

I am taking all online except professionals in health, they don't offer it online. Which I find strange since it's just a lecture class.

Comp I here doesn't have any exams but does require 5 projects (papers). Personally I enjoy those types of classes and am really looking forward to it.

MIcrocomputer literacy is what I call the computers for dummies class. It's the very basic type of computer class and anyway, just find it funny lol.

I am taking Nursing 101. I am done with all my prereqs, except religion. I will take that by itself next Summer.

Anatomy & Physiology I. After that, I'll just have A&P II in the spring and Micro in the summer (unless I get deployed), and I can apply for the acc. BSN program next fall. Yay!

Statistics and A&P1. My last 2 prereqs! yay!

I'm taking Anatomy, Physiology, Chemistry, Developmental Psychology and Weight Training (for my own mental health!)

anatomy, human growth and development through the life span, and gen chem as well as a stats class. (placement test on Monday for the last two.) I'm taking a short break from my BA at a different university. After 4 years of non-science classes, this sure will be a change! :wink2:

I'm taking Anatomy and Physiology I, Human Growth and Development and Critical Thinking and Ethics. I only have Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology II to take before I apply to the nursing program. I have my other classes completed. I'm told that I can take Microbiology my first semester of Nursing school.

Just Nursing I!!!! Also my pre-reqs and co-reqs are DONE so I can focus on the nursing. I'm so excited to start!!!!!
