  1. Hi Take me in. I am taking my exam in april end. Please help me out with some tips to pass NCLEX. Thanks
  2. I would say apply to all the colleges who offere this RN degree. I'm in a waiting ist since last year and still don't know when I'm gonna start. I've completed other requirement as well as all support classes. I think in ur college there must be few courses which would need to be completed before you can start your first nursing course so just consult with your college and complete those first. Most of the colleges have almost same requiremnet so Good luck!!
  3. Thanks. It really helped.
  4. thanks you all.
  5. Thanks but can you tell me in RN job how much u think and how soon you think that this course should be done. I've start my clinicals yet because I'm in a waiting list. I'm planning to get a certificate for that this semester.
  6. Hi, I was wondering if anyone took or planning to take phlebotomy course to get help in their RN course. I heard it's a good course to take. Please help. I'm planning to take this in Fall since I'm still in a waiting list for my clinical.
  7. Don't let people discourage u. I completed all those courses and beleive me those are not so tough. Just go for these.
  8. Hi, I've studies the whole book. I completed both my A&p courses. I would say there is no harm in starting reading it before class starts. It does have a whole lot of material but if you keeo up with your schedule then there wouldn't be any problem. The first half is okay not so tough but much to remember but the second hafl has all the body system and other things which you would need to understand. I would suggest you always read your chapter before u go to class that will help you much more in understanding what the professor is saying. And one more thing why did you spend $270 on that book. Nursing books are preety expensive and bookstores charge almost double of what I pay online. I use amazon.com, ebay.com or half.com to buy these books. I paid only $90 for the new book and the atlas. I hope you can buy online at that price and return the book to the bookstore. Hope all that help. Good luck.
  9. My college did the same thing regarding ISBN #. Actually that's the 10 digit number which is printed down to the bars. They said that from Jan 2007 these number would be used everywhere. But you can ask thm ISBN number. My college bookstore's staff gave all ISBN on phone and all those came on amazon, half and ebay.com. These three sites are really helpful. I've never bought single book from the bookstore. They're crazy. I'm spending less then half on new books online. Good luck for your search.
  10. I'm done with all my support classes. I'm in a waiting list for my clinical which I'm not starting in Fall so I'm planning to take nutrition class. I heard it's helpful in nursing courses as well as it's one of the pre-requisite for BSN.
