Just thought I'd start a thread about the classes all of us will be taking this Fall... maybe we can start our sticky support groups early. Lol... j/k. I am really excited though.:w00t:
I am taking:
Freshmen Writing Composition (aka: Writing for Special Topics)
College Algbra:stone
Biological Science I w/ lab:roll
Introduction to Sociology:yeah:
How about you?
I am a little scared about my fall schedule. I am taking Micro, Physiology, Pharmacology and Human Growth/Development....oh yeah and working full-time...but it is only one semester and I really don't want to take a year or two to get the prereqs done to get into nursing school especially since most of the accelerated programs I am looking at only have one admission period per year.
Anyways, please say a prayer for me since I won't be sleeping until mid-December.

Hey, we're both the same age, and have been out of school for the same length of time! How cool is it that we've decided to pursue a career path that we feel so enthusiastic about?
Hiii...would love to make a new friend in the same boat as me! Email me sometime! Less than a month till school starts....yay!
I'm a pre-nursing student with a BA in English. I'm applying to an Accelerated BSN program next year. Right now, I'm getting the pre-reqs out of the way.
This fall, I'm taking:
Spanish I & II (combined 6 hour course, meets daily)
Chemistry & lab
A&P I & lab
Concepts of fitness
for a total of 16 hours. I'm very blessed to be able to go back to school full time. I'm 27 right now and hope to be a Physician Assistant by the time I'm 33. :caduceus:
I'm only taking one class this fall. It's been 12 yrs. since I've been in school and I want to do well. I already have a BS in Psychology so I already have most of my general requirements under my belt.
This is the plan:
A&P I- Fall 07
A&P II- Spring 08
Microbioloby- Summer 08
And hopefully NS Fall 08.
I'm taking
A & P I in an 8 week session that started July 16
American History II online
Intro to Philosophy online
A & P II 8 weeks session starting in October
So it's 14 hours, I am happy to say that I got a B on our first A & P test so I feel more ocnfident about the rest of the class. Like most people I also need to get A's in all of my classes to give me a better chance at the nursing program.

It's what i placed into when i took the COMPASS test, i have to have a math class and they won't let me take classes lower than my test score. i'd have taken it anyway though, i'll be going to medical school in a few years.
