What are YOU taking Fall semester?

Published

Just thought I'd start a thread about the classes all of us will be taking this Fall... maybe we can start our sticky support groups early. Lol... j/k. I am really excited though.:w00t:

I am taking:

Freshmen Writing Composition (aka: Writing for Special Topics)

College Algbra:stone

Biological Science I w/ lab:roll

Introduction to Sociology:yeah:

How about you?

A&P I

College Comp I

General Psy

College Algebra

I just wanted to add that I am a married mom of two. I haven't been a student in five years and I was always a "neglectful" (lol) student. I am returning to school w/ all of my electives and general studies out of the way except for Chemistry (ugh) and AnP I (ugh times 2) which I will be taking this fall and AnP II and Nutrition this Spring. Then come summer I will start my NE classes and I will have 10 NE classes until I graduate. Woo-Hoo!

ooh-cowboy boots, we will have to start a support thread for anp I

I agree. I'm nervous about taking college algebra with a&p I.

Whats up everybody?

I have a B.S. In network communications management. So most of my prereqs are completed except for the sciences. What do you guys think of taking Anatomy and Microbiology at the same time?

Am I stretching myself too thin with this schedule. These are the only 2 classes i am taking for the fall.

I will be taking A&P and Micro with 2 jobs so I think you can do it. Because I think I can do it too. ;)

just wondering if its a good idea because my previous degree was more business oriented rather than science oriented. I know I will be doing ALOT of reading and research on the side just to comprehend the basics of both subjects....=/

I am taking Chem and College Algebra.

Hi guys,

I am pretty new here this is only my second post. I will be taking Micro and Nutrition this fall. I just applied to ADN program and hopefully I will get into the Spring evening and weekend program. I'm very worried about Micro.

I'll be taking A&P 1 along with Intro to Human Communication. Should be easy to handle. My only other obligations are my 2 yr old, full-time job, and SO. It shouldn't be all that bad. I wake up at 3 in the morning for work and am off by noon. Frees up the rest of my day to make it work. Looking forward to it! At this point I am just crossing the days off my calender till classes start.

I don't necessarily think it is a bad idea to take them together. I am taking Physiology and Micro together this semester (along with Pharmacology but hey, it is my last semester before I get into nursing school) and I am sure there will be some redundant information that is repeated between classes.

Ask yourself this question, how logical of a thinker are you? Because coming from an engineering background I am finding that a lot of the life science classes aren't as tough as I thought because I am used to critical thinking/logical reasoning etc. and it makes understanding human body processes a little bit easier.

Bottom line, this semester will be just like high school, your first degree, and probably your work experience, you will get out of it what you put into it.

Good luck!

Not a darn thing!! I have the fall semester OFF!!! I take my A&P 2 final tomorrow morning and I just finished up Human Development and Nutrition so I am free and clear until I get into the nursing program! It's exciting to have all my pre-preqs done!
