Just thought I'd start a thread about the classes all of us will be taking this Fall... maybe we can start our sticky support groups early. Lol... j/k. I am really excited though.:w00t:
I am taking:
Freshmen Writing Composition (aka: Writing for Special Topics)
College Algbra:stone
Biological Science I w/ lab:roll
Introduction to Sociology:yeah:
How about you?
Nutrition, Human Growth & Dev., on line, then Beginning Algebra, Word Civ and Micro on MWF's. Got everything else (pre-req's) for associates. Taking extra to be prepared in case I hold out another year to get bachelor's. Nursing school this spring. Gonna be 50 yrs when I graduate. Still wondering if there is much difference in the pay (ADN vs BSN) over my 10-12 yr working life. Hope to retire around 62. Any advice?
I will be taking A&P1, Chemistry and Human Growth & Development (lifespan pyschology) and I will be working 20 hours a week!
I'm going to MGCCC/JD...is that where you plan to go?This is my first post! :)I've got a year of college under my belt, and most of my basic classes out of the way. My first year was as a criminal justice major.. this will be my first year as a pre-nursing student.
This smester scares me. I'll be going to school 23 hours a week! Yikes! My CNA classes start August 7th-October 2nd. My regular college classes start August 20th-Decemeber 14th! I'll be taking..
Biology (I'm supposed to have the best Science teacher in the school so I'm looking forward to this)
College Study/Survival Skills (I figured this would come in handy for nursing school)
Human Growth and Develompent
Child Psychology (I plan on becoming a pediatric nurse so I figured this would be a good elective)
Good luck yall!!! I'm sure I'll be here to vent once classes start! :)
I'll be starting brand new..I can't wait!!So I'll be taking....
Sociology
Algebra
Speech
Humanities
Reading
and a computer class online thats only a month long..
I haven't been in school in over 6yrs...so support is what I need too!
Hey, we're both the same age, and have been out of school for the same length of time! How cool is it that we've decided to pursue a career path that we feel so enthusiastic about?
i am taking anatomy for sure and chemistry if there's a spot available when my registration date arrives in a week or so. after that i'll just need physiology and microbiology to apply to the programs in my area.
i'm excited to get on with it so i can apply already! best of luck to all of us this semester!

Some of the terms used in child psy may be confusing when combined with the sociology.
