They specifically asked us not to wear scrubs to Skill Lab. They did not want people coming in the gear they wore to work (uck!).
If they have no specific code just be clean and neat. We had one woman who had her cleavage on display all the time -- oh dear. Another who wore Daisy Dukes with flip flops -- go figure. No one wants to see any flesh between shoulders and knees -- not at school.
Just my 2 cents.
I'm going to call and ask next week, but do you wear scrubs on non-lab/clinical days, or just street clothes?
We are prohibited from wearing any scrubs to class unless they are required attire for a lab test/checkoff. I think they had a problem with complaints of students wearing scrubs straight from work. Instructors decided they could not tell who was wearing scrubs to work after class (which is fine) from who was coming off a shift to class in scrubs (which is not fine).
Jeans and Tshirts or sweaters depending on the weather on days that are not lab or clinical. We are required to wear our white uniform scrubs to clinicals and for skills testing or remediation. We can wear any kind of scrubs in the skills lab, or street clothes with our lab coat. Must have closed toe shoes at all times.
