Let's do something fun! Everybody on allnurses.com has a very interesting and unique username. What is the back story of your username? Mine is just like it states, "Life's a Journey!"

Ok, and this may be a bit “Off Topic,” but how does the wide eyed car avatar come into play with that chosen screen name????

My grandma, named Florence, believed in me no matter what. Her dad practiced Western medicine in China, where the profession was not respected at the time. Florence Nightengale promoted health and environment changes to help patients. “Lyfe” because “love you for ever” in this purgatory we are all a part ofzzzz.

I work with children as a school nurse. On the worst days I feel like a herding feral cats... trying to get them to the class they need to return to, trying to keep them from climbings the walls and curtains in the clinic, and stay focused on the questions being asked during the assessment.... all while trying to get in touch with parents who have no working numbers, voice mails not set up, or phones that "are not receiving messages at this time".

I am playing a Dungeons & Dragons campaign with some friends. My current character is a Half-Orc Cleric (Nature Domain) who has a Cat Herder backstory.

I got pissed at the allnurses.com website one day after I could not retrieve my log on info for my alter ego username, which was my own fault, hence forever known as...

Two meanings:
The first referring to the men including the Knights Hospitalers, the Teutonic Knights, and the Knights of St. Lazarus: arguably the first nurses, hence one becoming the other.
The second that and I thought "night" vs. "knight" was a night nurse when I signed up.
