Different from the usual 7 to 7,
I heard of 2 hospitals that begin their shift from 3 to 3.
Another hospital from 8a - 8p vise versa in NYU.

I am also 7-7, but local ER's do a lot of 3-3, 11-11, 12-12 etc.

I worked at one hospital that did 1930-0800 , 0730-2000, 1200-2400, 1530-0400, 0330-1600. They had a variety of different 12 hour shifts and if you had someone to partner up with you could basically work whatever you wanted.
Now where I work in 7-7 and everyone does 12 hour shifts. In the ER they do 2p-2a. We have a 11-2300 also.

We start at 6, 7 or 11. They are all 12 hour shifts.
We have 2 options for getting our unpaid lunch break. We can clock in 15 mins before and 15 mins after our time or we can clock in at our actual time of your shift and stay til the '30 to get our full 12 hours.

My unit: 0645-1515. The rest of our hospital: 0700-1530. (for eight hour shifts)
This really messes up people who float from our place to the rest of the hospital (not common, but happens occasionally)
