I still am fixated on how women give up their hard won freedoms to vote for these guys! 

They want to create environments where women stay at home minding their kids and they go off to factory jobs and come home and boss their women around, like in those old 70's and 80's sitcoms. 

And college educated women fall for this nonsense! What is happening interlectually here? Do women really want to be subjugated in loveless marriages etc? 

Evidence.... Georgia, abortion laws where women can be jailed!

While the laws may be written by a legislature that is made up of white men, conservative women also support anti-abortion stances.  They are playing to their base which includes plenty of women because without them they wouldn't be elected.  I know several people that for them this is the single issue.  My aunt for example doesn't like Trump but voted for him because Democrats favor abortion and he was the first President to speak at a March For Life.  

But this also includes a new generation of women, not trapped in loveless marriages, with modern men that don't want them in the kitchen but expect them to contribute economically and participate in raising their own kids. 

It's complicated.

Tweety, single issue voting was never complicated.  Single issue voting is single-issue voting while ignoring everything else.  For example, voting for Trump because of a single issue while ignoring the fact that Trump is the racist leader of the Nazi movement and a traitor to our country while in office is what some single-issue voters do.  In other words, their support for the single issue has clouded their judgement of the evils that is Trump and his threat to our democracy.

Sadly, GOP single issue voters are currently in a Doomsday cult.  I predict that the date of the overturning our constitutionally led election in 2020 to remove that twice impeached LOSER, Trump, from office will change from Friday, August 13, 2021 to another date after today.  It is how Doomsday cults work.  Oh, and there will be a push for the GOP followers to give money too with the new date in mind.  Doomsday cults need money.

How? Dems don't ban abortions, they give you a choice. It's your body, but I still think the Dad should have some input. 

Dems treat you like an individual! 

And it's never a single issue! Trump came with Cruz, Hawley, MTG, Bobbert, Mcarthy, McConnell, DeSantis, Abbott, Graham, Rubio, Gaetz, Nunes, Rand Paul and on and on! All bad people who only have their interests in mind! It doesn't even include the cabinet, who The Joker in Batman could have assembled Flynn, Bannon, Kushner etc etc. Grift and more Grift! And then the devil himself, McConnell! Turtle face has done more damage to this country than probably anyone in history! 

Then consider the level of stupidity of republicans! Equating mask wearing and vaccines with liberalism, so they won't do it, endangering their lives and their children's and friends etc. The list is endless and all because of a single choice! 

Not really that complicated!

How are they dangerous?  You saw their mostly peaceful demonstration January 6th.  Compare that to Alt-Left terror groups like BLM who caused over $2 billion in damages last year and left 47 people dead.  

The Alt Left is pushing black supremacist rhetoric in the classroom through the hateful agenda known as "Critical Race Theory".  Trump proved himself to be the most peaceful President of our lifetime.  He didn't start any unnecessary wars in Iraq or Afghanistan nor did he commit genocide in Libya like Obama.

Trump may be brash and arrogant but recognize the good that he has done.  He has lived his life as a civil rights icon fighting for equality in the workplace.  He helped navigate us through a pandemic even through tremendous adversity.  He helped get vaccinations out.  When he tried to stop travel from Covid infested nations early on he was called "Xenophobic":  The man is the most selfless President we have ever seen.  How many other billionaires would sacrifice their golden years to try to lead this nation after 8 years of horror under a terrorist sympathizing bigot?

That's your measure of a "mostly peaceful" protest...the capitol wasn't left in ashes? You shouldn't have any problem with BLM protests then since no capitol buildings were left in ashes.

I am on the frontlines and have been since Day 1.  I recommend the vaccines as did Trump who helped eliminate hurdles to bring them out faster.  You can thank former President Donald Trump for bringing out the vaccines and saving who knows how many lives.  Listen he is out of office now you can just drop it.  Take a page out of Trump and fight for all legal Americans.  We are all in this together and attacking other people for believing in freedom and equality for all is not the right way to go about this.

The protest was mostly peaceful, that is a fact.  The majority of the people stood outside the capital. A few hundred people along with ANTIFA agitators went inside and took a bunch of selfies.  BLM caused over $2 billion in property damages in 2020.  How much property damage occurred at the capital in the mostly peaceful protest?

We've already been there and done that months ago.  We know Trump brought the vaccine and even Biden thanked him for that.  

I guess it's fair to promote his accomplishments in a thread full of criticism but you're not really bringing anything new to the discussion, but then again neither is anyone else.  I do wish we'd somehow agree to ban discussions of him.

I don't need to thank the fellow that screwed up the federal pandemic response and then lied to the American people about a pandemic everyday for a year while people died. We aren't in this together, you are in a cult that elevated a crazy authoritarian who continues to threaten our republic.  You are too indoctrinated to appreciate how dangerous Trump's rhetoric continues to be.
