Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!
Just now, toomuchbaloney said:I don't need to thank the fellow that screwed up the federal pandemic response and then lied to the American people about a pandemic everyday for a year while people died. We aren't in this together, you are in a cult that elevated a crazy authoritarian who continues to threaten our republic. You are too indoctrinated to appreciate how dangerous Trump's rhetoric continues to be.
Authoritarian? Pot calling the kettle black. The Alt-Left has embraced full on authoritarianism these days.
Trump tried his best to fight the pandemic. When he wanted to halt travel early on people like you screamed "Xenophobia" when you likely don't even know the definition of that word. Trump stood for freedom for All Americans and is the complete opposite of authoritarianism. You are too biased, racist, and sexist to appreciate his accomplishments.

Those aren't real sources. I know the facts. I know that Trump was an advocate for women in the workplace and provided loans for black entrepreneurs in the 80s when banks wouldn't loan them money due to racist policies. Trump has said some raunchy things about women but in a sexual manner. He speaks no worse than most men that I workout or play golf with. The man has a healthy appetite for women due to his high testosterone levels.
I'm not sure that it's fair to compare one day with an entire movement that had protests in hundreds of cities around the globe.
I'm trying to find some documentation but 93% of them were peaceful according to one source. This might equate to the capital protest being mostly peaceful.
I'm trying to find some backup for the $2 billion cost, but I did find one that said 1 billion. Still a lot and significant.
One riot on the capital caused 30 million according to one source.

We have more cases than ever right now. I am seeing over 100 Covid patients a day in my office. Is Trump the president now? Are you thanking Biden for screwing up the pandemic response?

A few hundred people along with ANTIFA agitators went inside and took a bunch of selfies. BLM caused over $2 billion in property damages in 2020. How much property damage occurred at the capital in the mostly peaceful protest?
But wait...you said that the capitol wasn't in ashes and that was the measure. Are you moving goalposts?
Is the measure - that most protesters weren't breaking laws? Do you apply that standard to all protesters and protests. ..most are peaceful?
Why didn't you just Google the cost of the damage to the capitol achieved by the seditionists?

He's was the President of the United States, forgive me for holding him to a higher standard than your golf buddies.

Interesting spin on how to look at things.
With all evidence pointing to the unvaccinated and Biden trying his best to continue Trump's campaign even Fox News isn't blaming Biden for the surge. Especially when facts play out that Republicans and areas that went for Trump are less likely to be vaccinated and experiencing the worst of the surge.

Some of those people you are treating right now probably do think that Trump is either still president because Biden cheated or that Trump is getting reinstated today, maybe you should ask them.
That was a really awkward attempt to project Trump's pandemic failures onto Biden. I'm certain that you can do better if you just slow down a bit.

Rioting in 140 cities after George Floyd's death will cost insurance industry $2 BILLION | Daily Mail Online
This source says 2 billion. 2 wrongs don't make a right though. I don't advocate going into the capital. To call it an "insurrection" just shows your gullibility. I don't think a bunch of rednecks taking selfies is much of an insurrection. BLM storming the capital of Oklahoma in April 2021 armed to the teeth with assault weapons threatening lawmakers is much more of an insurrection. How much news coverage did that get?

I guess it's fair to promote his accomplishments in a thread full of criticism but you're not really bringing anything new to the discussion, but then again neither is anyone else. I do wish we'd somehow agree to ban discussions of him.
We must talk about him until he no longer represents threat to the country.

Many of those people also think that Trump should have been removed from office because of "Russian collusion". Anyway back to Covid land I am getting behind in charts and have some telepsychiatry patients to see as well. Have fun posting over 5000x on a nursing forum about how jealous you are of Trump's accomplishments.
