Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!

As Plato said, "Birds of a feather, flock together"
It's the primary problem that republicans have. They flock together and look like each other. No creativity. Confluence or convergence, just like in evolution, creates stagnation. Notice how they are essentially an echo chamber for each other?
How can these idiots learn anything or represent America, if they are all thinking and having the same experiences? They have social/cultural hemophilia and don't even know it! The morons don't even know that they are the Blockbuster of politics!
Every major company has worked this out years ago. Divergence leads to creativity! They are so insecure and incapable, they can't even communicate with others, even in safe spaces. Scared of their own shadows, but cover it up with assertiveness. It's pitiful, really!

Here's another example of the crazy that surrounds amd supports Trump.
Saw that and wondered, just how empty is your life that you have so much time to not only think about that display, but to fashion it and the many corrections to arrive at that end product.

Our country has to suffer decades from the damages done by Trump. Certainly all of the judges he assigned (whether they were experienced or not), will be on these courts for decades. Look at who he picked for his cabinet - do you believe he suddenly became a wise man and picked judges based on issues of jurisprudence? These judges were bought and paid for by Koch and other large contributors. Give 1 to the corporations and 0 to the citizens for that. Almost half of the country approves of the mob mentality and that's just an indicator of how far we have fallen. So Trump is an issue that won't go away soon even if he dies tonight.

It's one thing to examine those types. But, as you've seen here, for some, that is all they can talk about. And, they cant seem to seperate the crazies from the rest of the 70 million.
Trump's supporters broke for attendance at the fairgrounds in Sarasota just south of me the other day. So I wonder how many people stayed home that are supporters. My guess that it isn't a "minuscule of a percentage".
Granted the loud and obnoxious are the one's that get the attention and then people tend to stereotype. This as a gay man watching the go go boys and drag queens get all the attention at Pride from the press is true.
But if I thought it was a minuscule of a percent they wouldn't occupy a blip on my radar.

It's just a fundraising tactic and tool...
Now that fox is starting to do the weather, I wonder if Trump will get a job using his marker to divert the hurricanes ??????
The weather Channel will say one thing and fox will say it's faked news and all the right wing radio peeps will be selling products on their websites. Anti vaxxers, anti climate, anti abortion, it'll be GOP anti ???
So Cuba is having a rare protest and it remains to be seen how it's going to unfold. There doesn't seem to be much response yet from governments around the world. But the US has said ""We stand by the Cuban people's right for peaceful assembly. We call for calm and condemn any violence."

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-57799852
This is how Fox News is reporting it. It's the headline on the web page as if it's the most important news story in the world right now. "Democratic socialists ignore Cuban protesters railing against communist dictatorship". The tagline on the picture of Sanders et all is "Communist sympathizers". The agenda of course is to paint those with social democratic ideas as communists and a threat.
Cuban Americans here in Florida tend to be Republicans and they are sympathetic to the protestors.

Clearly we have different definitions of "miniscule".
There are various polls out there on the topic, and they're fairly consistent when it comes to where Republican voters stand on these issues.
Half to just over half of Republican voters poll as believing Trump was the actual winner of the 2020 election.
In a number of polls, just under half of Republican voters believe the attempted overthrow of democracy on January 6th was justified, ie this whole democracy thing was just a fad.
About 30% of Republican voters support a future violent overthrow of the government.
Almost a quarter of Republican voters say the believe Q-Anon conspiracy theories including that the government is run by a cabal of satan worshipping child-brain-eating cannibals.
I'm with you in that I'd like to believe these are "miniscule" portions of Republican voters, but that clearly isn't the case.
