Another instance in which we learn Trump was right. This is a pretty big deal, but most Americans won't take much notice.

It's going to be interesting how this unfolds.
QuoteWhat Trump and some news outlets are saying is wrong,” attorneys Jody Westby and Mark Rasch told the Times. “The cybersecurity researchers were investigating malware in the White House, not spying on the Trump campaign, and to our knowledge all of the data they used was nonprivate DNS data from before Trump took office.”

I certainly would like to know the truth. But I certainly am not going to listen to Trump and his allies as they are known to lie and exaggerate. However, the guy investigating malware is part of the Clinton campaign....hmmmm.....

Which part of that said that "Trump was right"?
8 hours ago, Beerman said:That's a nice way to put it. I would say the Jim Crow references are flat out lies meant to stir emotions and cause division. Unless you think Biden and others making those references are simply misinformed and uneducated?
You keep saying those measures are meant to impede the opposition, but you've failed to make the case.
I've given you a number of examples of Republican positions in voting that make impede voters more likely to be Democrat voters, what is your criteria to "make the case"?

Did you really expect that I wouldn't question this?
It requireds 3/4 majority the first time it's introduced. If it fails, it can go forward with a simple majority in the next two legislative sessions. A bill to change state amendments to ease voting "restrictions" was put to the voters in 2014, and lost.
"Connecticut voters defeated a constitutional amendment that would have authorized the state legislature to allow early voting in the state and remove the restrictions on absentee voting. Absentee voting is allowed for a limited number of reasons including "absence from the city or town of which they are inhabitants or because of sickness or physical disability or because the tenets of their religion forbid secular activity." The amendment was defeated by a margin of 52.03% to 47.97%."

CT overwhelmingly voted for Obama in 12, and Clinton in 16, btw.
So, when you claim Republicans are the problem, you are being wildly inaccurate.
There is another bill on the ballot this year. I'm sure by now the mostly Democrat populace has fallen for racist rhetoric that others have, and it will pass.
In the mail-in voting measure that failed to pass by supermajority, the only no votes were Republicans, so yes, it was primarily (only) Republicans that opposed the bill.

Your original claim was that CT didn't have mail in voting was because Republicans in the legislature opposed It.
When in reality, even though it was opposed by Republucans, it was eventually put to the voting public (mostly Democrat), where it was defeated.

So you're saying it's not Republicans that opposed it currently?
"Four years after winning election by the narrowest of margins, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) leads his three most likely Democratic challengers in advance of November's midterm elections, a new poll finds."

That Democrats have spied on him. He's made allegations against Obama in the past.
Like I said with Trump's history of lying, while he might have been proven right about somethings in the past, I'll be not listening to him and his bloviations about a Clinton spying on him until more truth from sources other than him are unfolding. That's the problem with a chronic liar and a generally unethical person, even if they tell the truth I won't believe them.
Congressman Jordan has made similar allegations, but if he has some inside information he needs to be forthcoming with solid proof. I'd be willing to believe the truth no matter how ugly, no matter bad it makes the Clinton campaign look or if criminal activity occurred.. The truth is the truth.

The Democrats didn't "spy" on Trump.
My point is that the article didn't say that Trump was right about anything. The actual indictments from Durham's investigation don't indicate that Trump was right about anything. That notion is propaganda.
Beerman was repeating partisan propaganda again just like he was when he shared that working paper with the idea that Trump was right and Fauci was wrong about covid mitigation. I think he actually believes that Trump was right about these things. In spite of the lack of evidence proving Trump right and the abundant evidence that Trump is a corrupt liar, conservative citizens seem to want to believe him.
Jim Jordan is almost like a partisan joke at this point in his political career, isn't he?

I don't understand how anyone who read the NBC article could take away anything other than Trump lied...again. The Vanity Fair article only buttresses this position that Trump had no understanding of the company's mission in searching for suspicious IPS addresses. Is someone could point out that this company has close ties to the DNC, I am willing to read the sources. Otherwise, this accusation is just as silly as any other Trump has ever made.
