Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!

I included the Fox article Tweety was speaking of, above. Nothing inflammatory, inaccurate, or dishonest. Perhaps you should have read it first by trying to make that point at this time.
I used a bit of hyperbole, my apologies. As I've mentioned before, hyperbole is a terrible argument. I'm pointing out that your tolerance for biased language which is intended to create a narrative is dependent upon the perceived political learnings of the source. I don't need to make crap up to make that point.

I think the story came out Friday, about NY specifically, because the governor released those figures on Friday. I'm not aware of similar stats from FL or anywhere else.
No problem we can disagree Did the click bait have to be a jab at liberal New York? That's when the agenda came through.
Like I said our paper reported it happening here but we don't get stats during a surge. Of course a few weeks ago when we had the lowest infection rate, that was news and stats easily available

You incorrectly stated that I posted a article to support my point. I did not. That's not hyperbole. That's simply you being wrong, at best. Or, at worst you made it up knowing others wouldn't bother to question it.
Biased language doesn't mean it's incorrect. It should be taken into account when considering it. We all have tolerances to it. You fully accepted the biased language about Silicon Valley, for example. I imagine you read various opinion writers in your beloved NYT and WaPo. I'm sure you agree with most, some not. But, most are all biased to some degree.

Again, I didn't see it as being a jab. So, I can't really answer your question. LOL

Yeah. If that wasn't your article then I was wrong. Apologies.
Of course biased language isn't always incorrect. I made that point originally when you voiced concern about the characterization of Silicon Valley. In the instance of the NYT article, your preference wasn't to simply take the language into consideration and context as you ponder the overall accuracy and message. Your standards are partisan and fickle by all appearances.

You missed the point. As Subee tried to explain to you, that sentence was purely subjective opinion. I might even agree with it as you did. My point was that it has no place in the lead paragraph in a news story, and that it was a sign of the poor and biased journalism that is common today. You even seemed to feel the same way in your reply to Subee.
You always have a lot to say about me. I'm not sure why you can't simply keep to the topic. I guess you wouldn't have nearly as much to say?
QuoteTreasury Department officials on Monday said that the Internal Revenue Service will face “enormous challenges” during this year’s tax filing season, warning of delays to refunds and other taxpayer services.
In a phone call with reporters, Treasury officials predicted a “frustrating season” for taxpayers and tax preparers as a result of delays caused by the pandemic, years of budget cuts to the IRS, and the federal stimulus measures that have added to the tax agency’s workload.
More of the poop show that will fall on Biden's shoulders.

It's a travesty how the IRS has been bastardized by the oligarchs to keep the working class under a thumb. https://www.propublica.org/article/irs-sorry-but-its-just-easier-and-cheaper-to-audit-the-poor

Right. As if Biden was the one on a mission to decimate the IRS and to promote a pandemic in which people are reluctant to re-enter the work force. My husband and I got audited 2 years in a row - a nurse and a film technician.....go figure. They ended up admitting that it was their error and they actually owed us money. A sum of money that probably didn't even cover the cost of transportation to lower Manhattan:)
More bad behavior on the part of the liberal media:
"A producer of MSNBC’s top-rated “Rachel Maddow Show” accidentally copied the office of Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) on an email saying the show refused to contact Cawthorn because it “worried” the congerssman would want to appear on the show. The 26-year-old Republican has fired back that MSNBC’s “woke dystopian bubble” wants to “silence” conservative views."
