Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!

White men are the authors of North American racism.  All of the other races have already experienced racism in North America.  No one is being racist against white men.  The persistent racism of powerful white men is being publicly examined and discussed in American culture right now.

Michigan has an awful education system and this is what happens when they become adults.  Homeschooling is very much a norm here.  And it's not just forest rangers, etc.  We have lots of very religious people who don't their kids tainted.  Sometimes I get that!:)  But I've seen kids take home courses way blow the caliber of what they could do  in a good lab course or with competition from the other smart kids.  P.S. This is theTrumpers.  Those are the only Repubs I've seen in marches here.

Perhaps you should proofread before insulting homeschoolers and others.

Perhaps, you should not be rude and correct other people especially when you know exactly what they are saying? 

There could be many logical reasons for written mistakes especially with auto type capabilities.

Got you going, didn't it? 

I meant what I wrote but  don't see it as an insult. I remember a kid who was the child if a forest rangers but managed to get into Harvard.  I just thought he was lucky to have such smart parents.  But I deal with plenty if homeschooled kids in the court system and I don't understand how they are being passed along the system to graduate as dolts.  Then there us the exceptional kid who could become a professional and work in STEM but don't get to be on the robot team because they aren't in the public school system.  That puts them at a great disadvantage I they want to go to an engineering school. But most I the kids I see that are homeschooling don't have dedicated parents...that's why they are in the court system.  Michigan solves this by throwing them out if the public school to be home schooled.

I'm originally from Michigan.  I have family in Michigan so I follow that local and regional news.  The decades long effects of starvation of public education and public health in terms of funding and staffing is becoming glaringly obvious. It's no mystery who champions the narrowing and diminishing of public education.

What a dirt bag she was.  Even after Leslie Stahl on 60 Minutes got her to admit that she had never stepped foot in a school in Detroit, I don't know that she ever went.  When you look at her eyes, all you see is the inside of the back of her skull.  There are some good schools here but that's despite the state ED.  No one wants to pay taxes but that creates an underclass who will never pay any taxes.

The most racist thing about that was the outrage was for antisemitic remarks and not the other discusting remarks. 

Racist remarks against white people are the only acceptable form of racism. You can say whatever you want derogatory about white men or people and its perfectly fine. 

A white man says a off colored remark 20 years ago and his life is ruined. 

Might I add that it WAS  "angry white men" (majority, not all) who brang down Hitler and the Nazi regime.  And the CIVIL war too!! Slavery. 

Kinda defeats the narrative that white men want everything to benefit them only. Well Nazi Germany was that place!! 

Image if the races were reversed.  Ex....

Angry white man to angry black man. 

White men are responsible for the most racism to black men are responsible for most crime. 

If it's confusing for you, just change the race.l. Sounds racist? Then it is. 

There has always been racism and there always will be but remember, if it's okay to discriminate against one group, it will be okay to discriminate against another. Think about it.

Who implied or argued that it was fine to discriminate against groups of people? Please show me where white men are the subject of widespread or systemic discrimination in North America. Think about it, it's been acceptable in the USA to discriminate against indigenous or non white populations for the entirety of American history.  Who is next in line for discrimination by the social group that has enjoyed the longest tenure of political and economic power in these USA? 

As the elected offices and executive suites of huge corporate interests reflect more diversity, the cries of reverse discrimination become louder and more prevalent.  It's to be expected.  Those voices will be loudest on cable and radio programming and in social media commentary.
