What does your spouse do?

Published

I was just wondering what does your spouse do for a living? My husband is a mechanic. At the past 3 shops he has worked about 30-40% of the guys he works with are married to someone in the healthcare field. He finds it intriguing. So I'm wondering what field is your spouse in?

Lots of military connections here!:) Met my husband while I was a military cop and he worked cryogenics. Now I am an RN and he makes different gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, helium, etc.

my husband works as a roughneck... that is oilfield term for working the floor of a drilling well. For the price of gas and oil you would think he would make big bucks but he hasn't had a raise in 8 years and he only makes 4$ an hour more then when he started in 1976.

That's terrible!

My sweet husband was a Marine...errrrr....once a Marine, always a Marine....according to him. He was a aircraft electrical tech in the Marines and continued in a electrical tech job as a civilian. A few months ago, he became ill with his blood pressure so he has been off work and it sure is nice to come home from work to a hot supper every night. He also repairs tv's and computers from a home workshop. He also does the majority of the housework now.
