What does your spouse do?

Published

I was just wondering what does your spouse do for a living? My husband is a mechanic. At the past 3 shops he has worked about 30-40% of the guys he works with are married to someone in the healthcare field. He finds it intriguing. So I'm wondering what field is your spouse in?

undefinedundefinedmy husband drives pump truck for a septic tank company - you know the story: its a crappy job but somebody has to do it! prior to that, when we lived in alaska, he worked in a tire shop and drove the service truck. i was wondering, does this make him a 'driving force'? :rotfl:

My husband is a Director of Radiology at a local hospital

My sweet hubby is a cable guy, and yes WE GET IT FOR FREE

my husband is a retired Air Force currently working as civilian employee (contractual) in one of the Air Force base in California. he is the reason why i left my good job back home and will work as RN here.

My hubby is a Robotics engineer, for his regular job. He is however, the official remote hog at home. :rotfl:

my fiancee is a sergeant in the army, stationed in japan until 2006. I graduate this may, but the base hospitals where he is generally only hire nurses with 1 year or more of experience, so we're probably going to have to live apart for another 1.5 years (8 months so far). I miss him a lot, and it's hard to go through the emotional roller-coaster of nursing school without him by my side.:crying2:

when he gets out, he wants to work as an engineer for a while, then go to grad school to study philosophy. I'm planning to get a master's or doctorate in nursing eventually, so we'll be one highly-educated, poorly-paid couple! :specs: :specs:

my husband works as a roughneck... that is oilfield term for working the floor of a drilling well. For the price of gas and oil you would think he would make big bucks but he hasn't had a raise in 8 years and he only makes 4$ an hour more then when he started in 1976.

my boyfriend is still in college. Hes in ROTC so when he graduates he'll be an officer in the army.

My husband is a farmer, artist, computer programmer, web site designer, all at the same time. He also makes all the family meals at home. I dare not complain about who works the hardest. :chuckle :chuckle
