I know the economy stinks and some of you have jobs and some do not.

What is your splurge, when you are able?

Mine is a dolled-up coffee and a sale item at one of my favorite clothing stores.

Half Price Books. Love that place. My kids know to get me gift cards for any occasion, and I buy the coupon calendar every year. I also dearly love the clearance section. With the coupons and the gift cards, I can come home with a bag of books that would have been $250 new for about one tenth of that.

Hey, Don, do you you have HPB anywhere near you? I know you'd go nuts there.

Small splurge; Dunkin Donuts Iced Mocha Latte with whole milk & LOTS of whip cream!!

Big splugre; a new tool for yard work, (my bf just bought me a hand held roto-tiller to work my garden with.. YEA!!)

Barnes & Noble is also my favorite place! I love cookbooks!!!!

So many good posts!! I don't think I've read one yet that doesn't sound like a splurge I give in to on occasion depending on the mood. Barnes and Noble :redpinkhe, new something for my iPod, movie, Victoria's Secret lotion, good wine or beer, Cold Stone Creamery (ice cream parlor- YUMMM):p, good workout, an afternoon to myself. . .Ahhh, so many things!

Movie night is my thing to do. Usually, the movie is an old favorite (The Shawshank Redemption, a fav. animated, Tombstone, Unforgiven, Stand By Me, The Green Mile) or a new movie I've been wanting to see.

I order out, either pizza/wings or chinese. Then I spend the night munching and watching. My cats end up falling asleep on the easy chair while the movie is going on, so if its cold out I'm plenty warm.

Haven't done that in a long time. Might do it tonight.
