Merry Christmas everyone..... Just thought I would poke around and see what others got this year. I got my christmas wish, as I have been hinting for an engagement ring for over 2 years now. The kids, they got all sorts of neat stuff, and the dog...... He loves the bones!! Well, see ya around, and love to hear from you all!!!!

Happy Christmas!!!!

We had both (actually 3 counting DIL) of our kids home for Christmas dinner. Hubby's Sis and BIL and their son, his late sis's 2 girls and hubby's brother. My sis couldn't make it due to a flair of optic neuritis....bummer. Anyway ate too much, opened too much and generally had a great Christmas!! Got stuff too but family is better.

Everything on my list, perfume, sewing machine, jewlry, gloves and a hat and low carb candy in the stocking!!!:chuckle

Santa ran out of money by the time he got to my neck of the woods. Not even a Christmas ham, but at least my mom and I got to spend the holiday together. That was the most important thing. Ham would have been nice instead of burgers tho. Oh well, Wait till next year!!!:D

I got to spend some wonderful time with my whole family last night, time where everyone was happy and our problems were put on the shelf. I got to be with my kids opening presents this morning, and enjoy a breakfast made by my husband.

Some favorite gifts were 2 beautiful sweaters, a movie I've been dying for that is out of print (so it is a used copy, but that's ok, it is what I asked for)! the 4 DVD set of the Star Trek Next Generation movies and my son got me some hand lotion. Other stuff too, but those were some of my favorites!

My holiday didn't turn out how I expected it to, due to some unsettling news, but I am trying to make the most of it! Christmas only comes once a year!

:kiss Hi! Monica,

Merry Christmas you too! Well, Santa brought me good and bad things for this year.

Good things like a new faster computer, a deeper comprehension of my limitations, courage and strength to endure my definite separation from my former wife and her children, a new nationality, extra energy to stand up from my own ashes like the Phoenix bird allowing me to support two-daily-hour-training in a Gym close to my house to cope with the stress resulting from a hell of job as a nurse.

(My goodness!!).

Bad things like a too long delay in giving me an answer of the CGFNS, causing my nerves system to break down of anxiety, and the resignation of many co-workers as a result of overloaded working conditions and bad payment, making the resulting conditions for those who remain a real hell.

However that's the meaning of being alive. As time flies we look back and find that we still stand and for that I feel grateful.

I'm grateful for having a profession that makes me feel useful, and I'm grateful for being allowed to express my self in this forum as well.

My best wishes for all of you!

I must've been a very good girl this year.......I got a new cell phone, a toaster, lots of kitchen goodies, some books and movies and CD's I've been wanting, some warm slippers, and the best of all......a new member of the family, my son-in-law-to-be, Micah!

In fact, the only way this Christmas could possibly have been better would be if we weren't flat broke, and if I felt good (I'm still fighting this laryngitis-bronchitis-asthma-fever thing). But hey, you can't have everything!!:D

I got a new coffee pot! The great Hamilton Beach Brewing Station. It's the one the coffee stays up and you put your cup under to dispense. I been wanting one since the day they came out!

I also got the joy of sleeping in. My kids actually watched TV until we got up and only marveled at the presents. They didn't open even one before we got up. That was a Christmas miracle in itself!

SmilingBluEyes---- So glad your husband was able to be home with you. My thoughts have really been on the ones that couldn't be this year.

Love, Peace, and Happiness to all----Angi

Merry Christmas

Santa brought me a new Palm PDA and a sony walkman. I also got hedge trimmers and new pj's.

The best gift, of course, is the gift of being able to enjoy my family.

I got a whole new wardrobe-- can you believe my hubby remembered my size and picked out clothing that I actually liked!!!

I got smelly good stuff from bath and body works, a 14 carat gold ring with 2 rubies and a diamond, fuzzy slippers, other stuff, and a huge George Foreman grill!!! I already made a honey dijon pork tenderloin on it--awesome!!!

I must admite, I was spoiled this year (actually every year, my husband shows his lover by being a "gift giver". Plus he is an only child so his parents like to buy me gifts too. I got a new arai motorcycle helmet, an rx7 coorifice air. I also got a heart rate monitor for my workouts, some new scissors for my scrapbooking, lots of stuff for my bathtub (salts/lotions/pillows/etc), some new stuff to wear, perfume, all of the harry potter books, and some other stuff. It was fun. We did christmas with husbands parents, then my family, then we all went out to dinner together. Happy holidays everyone.
