Ok so this has been my mantra to get me through NS. SO far it was worked for the first year. I still have days that I doubt I am tough enough for this but then I come on to these boards and you guys help make me feel that I am not in this alone!! Thanks everyone. ~mel

Another thread has prompted me to ask: what mantra/saying/advice has gotten you through nursing school? What do you mutter every day as you head out to all the responsibility that is waiting for you?
Here are mine:
'Never let anyone or anything get in the way of your goal.'
When you think you can't do something, you WON'T. When you think you can, you WILL.
I have the above two sayings on my fridge, so I can look at them every time I open that door.....which is a lot, sadly, LOL.
Finally:
"One more day down and on my way to my goal."
These three sentences have given me strength the whole time and have made a difference for me. What helps you?
