What games DO you play? (On your break, of course)

One thing funny about the card thing was, how retro can you get? That lady is behind the times in a big way. Wasting time playing Candy Crush instead of answering a call light? It's probably happened before. But, card playing is almost a thing of the past.

So, fess up, what is your little vice? Other than secretly checking allnurses (for purely professional reasons of course), what game DO you play? (On your break of course).

I just can't bring myself to play games on my phone. There is a little voice that reminds me that I could always be doing something more constructive. But back in the day when things were slooooow at ye olde fire station, I played Bejeweled on my Palm Pilot. (Yep, Palm Pilot. lol)

Candy Crush, Words with Friends

I have played Chess with the honor system when away from the board. Some triva or test prep questions. and Who quit? this one not really a game; several people on the floor go through names and tryfigure out who is still working and who left for other things.

I also love a good game of Who quit? ?

I'm a words with friends fan. I don't have the patience for many other phone games. I find the Elevate brain games fun, too.

Since my husband was diagnosed with Alz, I have been hypervigilant about my own cognition (common among caregivers!).  I play sudoku, a couple of types of solitaire, and I work crosswords on two sites.  Everything is timed, and I track (competing with myself is a lifelong habit), and that tells me if I'm more or less distracted.  So far, memory is good.

I have never played games at work, even on breaks, but when I am home.... that's another story.
