What is your dream nursing career

My dream nursing career would be to work at a college/university working in the student clinic while also health promoting to the peers at the school...while working to do that I would love to work as a school nurse while goin to school for my masters to become a family np honestly I would love to have my own office and desk promoting health from all the experiences I hope to have while in nursing school and working as a nurse...so all these careers have all of what I dream of doing with a nursing degree...good luck to all of you chasing your dream nursing job

Well, after I graduate May of 2013 my dream job would be in the CVICU working night! A little down the road my dream would be working in a CVS or some similar entity as a FNP!

My dream is to get a job, lol, sad but true. I would love to work on a psychiatric floor or facility. I would also like the night shift, maybe 7 pm to 7 am three times per week. I have a degree in psycho as well.. loved learning about it! I feel like we don't give enough attention to psycho disorders.

I would also love to work on a neuro floor. I was pretty good at his unit and it seems interesting but intense.

I am looking into CRNA as well as Life Flight.

My ultimate goal is to become a Flight Nurse, too. Barring that, I think I'd like to work in Labor & Delivery or Trauma.

I currently work as a CNA on a medical-oncology floor and love it. So either stay there or eventually move to ICU. Maybe go back to become a FNP, but that's a pretty big maybe!

That sounds actually sounds terrible. Can you imagine how demanding they would be?

First choice would be anesthesia, but that's way down the road. I'd enjoy flight or ER and I think I'd love OR. I could even see me doing home health. I'm a little all over the place. LOL

Well baby nursery, postpartum, couplet care, etc. I like L&D too.

First and only choice would be L & D for sure! I loved it. I also can say that was the only clinical that I left the hospital excited and with a smile on my face for teh rest of the day!
