I have been MIA from allnurses for a long time so I decided to start a topic...I just received my "nurses week" gift from my management team at the hospital were I work. Last year we got a pen and this year we got one of those tall aluminum bottles that keeps your drinks cold/hot, with the hospital logo on it!! Yay! *sacrasm over* At least we got a useable gift.
Curious on what other facilities have done or currently doing for their staff for nurses week. Please share.
Training all day today (though they did give us lunch and a $5 gift card to the hospital coffee shop, plus a pen and badge holder), and my manager gave me a new preceptor (not really a gift for nurse's week but he waited until today to give me my schedule for next week and made sure to tell me that he was changing my preceptor because apparently my first one thinks I don't like her for some reason).

So far an Ice cream cone, a 15 minute chair massage and today a cookie. Tomorrow we have a taco buffet for all nurses in the facility.
