What are your other degrees in?

As I'm reading through other posts, I see many people mention that they have degrees in something other than nursing. So I'm curious...what are your other degrees in?

I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education, and I'm now going for my ADN! I'll be done May 2013.:D

Specializes in Critical Care; Cardiac; Professional Development.

Liberal Arts. Whoa. Useful. NOT!

I have a Bachelor's in American Studies. I had no clue what I wanted to do with that!

I seriously thought about transferring to a school that had this major... I ended up staying with Art History, which was no more useful once I graduated :) I loved studying culture but now it's on to something I can actually see myself doing every single day!

Specializes in public health, women's health, reproductive health.

I have a BA in Liberal Arts. :)

BA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and Literature, minor in Sociology.

@RN2BDFW....my thoughts exactly. Liberal Arts Studies got me right where I wanted to be....administrative assistant job after administrative assistant job! :)

On the plus side, just about all of my credits transferred over to the ADN program I'm in now and once I'm ready to cross over to the RN-BSN or RN-MSN program, it'll be easier.

I have a BA for Biology and couldn't get a job when I graduated. Everywhere I looked wanted at least 3 years field experience and I had two at the most. I got into nursing because the leap isn't that far and anatomy was just as fascinating as ecology was.

simultaneously working on my B.A. in deaf studies (very part time.. like one class at a time part time.. haha) while completing my diploma in nursing... hoping to become a part time medical ASL interpreter while being a nurse. :)

I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a minor in sociology. I am currently halfway through with my nursing program.
