I'm an Australian RN studying to be a midwife at the moment. I plan to work for a year after i graduate from midwifery and work overseas for a while. I've got a few places in mind such as vancouver and the uk, but would love some input as to what other countries you guys have love doing your nursing or midwifery in. I'm not fussed about the conditions of work. I could birth babies in africa or work in new york. It's the experiences that count.

I dream of working in the caribbean, a small hospital with a small house in walking distance to the beach that pays the bills to have both.

I would like to work in the north of Ireland, in the Inishowen area. Not forever, just for maybe a year. With my hubby and kids schlepped along, of course.

Somewhere in the Caribbean  .

Would be nice to wake up to the sounds of the ocean and go to work all relaxed. And when I get off work, no matter how bad my day was, I can just sit on the beach and forget about everything.
