I am graduating next month and my tuition was $4400 at a vocational/technical school in New Jersey. The new students are paying $5800 this year. The school doesn't participate in any financial aid or loans.

This includes books, fees & uniforms. :specs:

The vocational public school here costs about $3600 and includes everything. There is a wait list of 8mo-a year. (They admit several times a year.) There's private schools around here also that do not have wait lists, but charge over $10,000.

However, the public vo-tech school will take about 17 months to graduate. They are part of the public school system and have a lot of vacation down time and only go Mon-Thurs. I know the one private school graduates in 11 months.

and its about 4,000. All covered by the Pell and Hope grants here in Georgia. There is even $200 for books. My school is cheap a full load of classes 12+ credits are only $450 per quarter.

My uniform and everything else is extra.

Not bad!

My school is a Vo-Tech and it's $3300 for the course. Books etc. run about $700 extra.

$5200 per semester, 3 semesters....$300 per semester for books, $200 for inital equipment and uniforms....total for LPN program approx $20k-$25k....

No waiting list, no pre-reqs and no waiting list for bridge program....still pretty steep though.....but that's just south of Boston.

books $700 , Tuition $2000 Uniforms and misc $300

graduate in 11 months as full time school pre tests 600 only 50 get in of which only 22 are left (still to finish peds and psyce) will be done 7/27(cant wait)

county schools often have best reputations and no wait for bridge progams to county collages

good luck

I just want to make sure you realize that although there is no waiting list for the bridge program, there will be a bunch of pre-req's that will have to be completed before admittance. Check it out.

Tech school in NJ. 3200 include books, uniforms, stethoscope, b/p cuff and our program director managed to also obtain goodies like Tabers, Davis's Drug Guide, Careplan books. I bought my own insurance, cheap and worth it imho through NSO and I still carry it. This year I understand the program cost is 3800....

Please help me, my daughter has been a CNA for two years and wants to go for her LVN then working to make more money before going on to RN.

The school she wants to attend are you ready. costs $20,000 for 12 months.

We live in So. CA please tell me some other schools that are good that I have a chance of getting a loan for to help her. I just don't have a good feeling about this and I having trouble finding much online about it.

Thanks for any input, it will be greatly appreciated.

my school cost over $7000. That did not include uniforms, books, ect. I also took out some extra student loans so I would not have to work more than I needed with 2 kids at home!

I paid about 10,000 and of course uniforms excluded. I went to school in D.C., so it's no big surprise that I paid more, pretty expensive area. On top of the 10K, we also had to pay for a new nursing software to prepare for the NCLEX-PN. I passed the first time I took my boards, but I don't think the computer tests were really helpful.
