Yes it's true, it was free.

I got my training in high school. I went to Clara Barton High School for the Health Professions in Bklyn. :p

Graduated when I was 18, passed my LPN state board and started working at 19. I only paid $150 to take the state boards.

I can't stress it enough to young people everywhere please try to get a career in high school so if something should happen that you can't make it to college until a later date(like me) you have something to fall back on.

Spread the knowledge to the young, please. :)

SCTI charges around $3500-$3800.

I say that because as soon to graduate members, admin. told us tuition had increased for the Summer & Fall terms.

SCTI is supposed to be the #1 rated school in FL state, usually 95%-99% NCLEX pass rate.

I went to a private school in florida and it was $12,000 plus books, supplies and uniforms. It was well worth the cost.

I Am In Pa All Together With Books Admission And Uniforms Its A Little Over 11,000........

When I went to LPN school back in the Juarassic era, my total cost at a tech school in NJ was $1200. :uhoh21:

I just went to the LPN program info session..and they said the total cost is $4700...i'm in HAWAII

Hello, all...

Sounds like VT is more on the expensive end. Cost for three semesters in LPN program at local voc tech school is about $10,000 plus uniforms and around $700 for books. It has a great reputation-- only 28 or so admitted (I think) and will graduate in June '06. RN program is much more expensive if I choose to go on... :o

Well here in Memphis, TN I'm attending a technical school. My program will be 18 months and the total cost is $4,446

Specializes in Neuro, Critical Care.
My School Charges 5200 A Semester, And The Program Is 3 Semesters. The Last Semester Is A Little Cheaper Cause Its Shorter

no comment on the cost of school BUT..thats my name too! EricaLynn:) sorry just had to post;)

I'm starting a Practical Nursing program in September and it's 15 months long and the cost is $20,075! It does cover: tuition, books, scrubs, white nursing uniform and the fee for the NCLEX-PN.

Not sure where in So.Cal you live but check out this web site: http://www.bvnpt.ca.gov/vnschl.htm

Try the LA unified school district training site's or Orange county ROP and Baldy View Rop are both inexpensive and La Puente Adult School.

Private school's are expensive but they do not have wait lists, many of the community college's out here have a two year wait list! Good Luck:)

Please help me, my daughter has been a CNA for two years and wants to go for her LVN then working to make more money before going on to RN.

The school she wants to attend are you ready. costs $20,000 for 12 months.

We live in So. CA please tell me some other schools that are good that I have a chance of getting a loan for to help her. I just don't have a good feeling about this and I having trouble finding much online about it.

Thanks for any input, it will be greatly appreciated.

Jayne

Its 3800.00 here for everything for 1 year including books. Although there is no waiting period, they do only accept the top 25 highest scores on the exam.
