I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

hey... I just ran while you walked...☺️
The other poster stated it was "interesting " that law enforcement had not released a name. I offered a plausible reason, based on what the sherrifs's office has said at the time. And, now they have released the name.
So, you don't like my reason. Do you or tmb have your own ideas as to why they didn't release the name immediately?
Answer, if you like. I'm done with this silly argument.

Yes, they did. Climate change, however, tends to intensify and increase the frequency of weather-related disasters. A quick explanation of the role that planetary warming probably had on this particular disaster can be found on vox.com.

I said it was interesting and you said they withheld the name until they decided that the fellow who threatened the safety of everyone in a Walmart wasn't just simply suicidal.
Whose silly argument is that?

My bad, I posted as I was reading, hence "you walked while I ran" to TMB.

There are good resources to help you understand why our weather patterns are changing.

He's been charged with making terrorists threats, which "I'm going to crash into Walmart" would be. But also people have used planes to commit suicide before. "Suicide by pilot" is a thing, as is murder-suicide by pilot. To me I wouldn't say it was obvious.
Whatever, thankfully he changed his mind and will likely be in prison or a mental institution for many years.

Perhaps the big evil 'magacrist' is fixing another flood to rid the world of sinners again? Just like the biblical floods? Complete with forced pregnancy and female servitude. All in the name of the Christian faith. And of course only sparing cis gendered, herosexual, biological sex people who are of low melanin will be spared. Cuz ya know, even magacrist is a WHT supremacist.
Hey look, I created a "far right conspiracy " for ya all to chirp about!
Incase your afraid, there is no actual conspiracy theory and people do not believe this. I made it up just like most of the made up far right conspiracy theories, that dems make up forming their own conspiracy theories about conspiracy theories.

Sure it's a thing... just like suicide by cop is a thing. In this instance the fellow didn't just threaten to harm himself by crashing his plane. He said that he was targeting a retail store. In my view that makes it obvious that this isn't a simple suicide. Most people don't commit mass murder when they kill themselves.
Yes, he changed his mind without hurting anyone...like the guy that said he was going to kill Kavanaugh, he changed his mind and was taken into custody. That's a very good thing.
How a Record Cash Haul Vanished for Senate Republicans https://nyti.ms/3CWsl4z
QuoteIt was early 2021, and Senator Rick Scott wanted to go big. The new chairman of the Senate Republican campaign arm had a mind to modernize the place. One of his first decisions was to overhaul how the group raised money online.
Mr. Scott installed a new digital team, spearheaded by Trump veterans, and greenlit an enormous wave of spending on digital ads, not to promote candidates but to discover more small contributors. Soon, the committee was smashing fund-raising records. By the Summer of 2021, Mr. Scott was boasting about “historic investments in digital fund-raising that are already paying dividends.”
A year later, some of that braggadocio has vanished — along with most of the money.
Mr Scott has a history with managing money... right?
