I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

While you were on hiatus, I did use the term once to describe a group of people who exhibit certain behavior. I did this to make a point after members continued to use "MAGAphile" after I called them out that they intended to be insulting with that term.
You are correct in that I don't call people names.

I said people who make excuses for or deflect from his mental decline are morons. Only those who fit that criteria should be offended.

It's honorable of you to admit to using the broad term "libtard" while complaining about a narrow descriptive like MAGAphile. That did qualify as name calling.

Exactly the same with folks who prefer to ignore the realities about Trump... they are MAGAphiles... although it's not clear why they are offended by that term.
For instance, I wasn't offended by the suggestion because I don't fit the criteria that you laid out for the effin moron label. Why would someone like you be offended by the term MAGAphile?
I saw it on Fox News.
He asked about climate change and the director answered that climate change can't be linked to any one storm and didn't seem to want to talk about climate change. Lemon claims "something is causing these things to intensify" and Fox ended the video before he could answer. But they act like Lemon got owned by the expert which the video doesn't seem to prove.
I don't know where Lemon gets his information that the storms are intensifying, but experts do seem to be concerned that warmer waters caused by climate change could be intensifying hurricanes.
But really Lemon should have stuck to the one topic that the expert was there for and not switch to climate change. But it's a reasonable question for another day.

So Lemon must have some research to back up his statements. But we'll talk about it for a while after such a huge event and then it will fade in the background noise. Kind of like when we talk about gun control after a mass shooting. Nothing changes.

QuoteIn Brief:
Due to global warming, global climate models predict hurricanes will likely cause more intense rainfall and have an increased coastal flood risk due to higher storm surge caused by rising seas. Additionally, the global frequency of storms may decrease or remain unchanged, but hurricanes that form are more likely to become intense.
QuoteMoreover, according to Knutson, most models show that climate change brings a slight increase in hurricane wind intensity. This change is likely related to warming ocean temperatures and more moisture in the air, both of which fuel hurricanes. While most models show either no change or a decrease in hurricane frequency in a warmer climate, a greater proportion of the storms that form will reach very intense (Category 4 or 5) levels. In other words, while there may be fewer storms, the ones that form have a greater chance of becoming stronger.....
Hurricane Ian certainly fits into this category.

Lemon actually did try to back up his statement....paraphrasing, but he stated he grew up there, and something is intensifying the storms. LOL.
Of course, there have been others more intense, And, it's been a relatively quiet hurricane season.

Hurricane Ian certainly fits into this category.
So, climate change, which we may or may not effect by human behavior, may or may not effect the intensity of hurricanes.
Thanks.
