I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

QuoteSeveral women who say Texas' abortion bans posed significant risks to their health have sued the state this week, opening a new front in the legal battles that have emerged since the Supreme Court overturned national abortion rights protections last year.
Five women allege in the lawsuit that uncertainty around when medical emergency exemptions in Texas' abortion laws apply exacerbated medical emergencies that put their lives, health and fertility in danger.
"To the extent Texas's abortion bans bar the provision of abortion to pregnant people to treat medical conditions that pose a risk to the pregnant person's life or a significant risk to their health,” the lawsuit says, "the Bans violate pregnant people's" rights under the state constitution's provisions protecting fundamental rights and the right to equality.

The greatest threat to "fertility" or pro-creation is abortion. It's in stark contrast really. They might want to drop that part. LOL

Oh really. Laughing out loud?
Tell me what carrying a pregnancy full term does to a 12 year old's body? Tell what a retained fetal demise and subsequent sepsis does to a mother?

Those fundamental rights include freedom of religion. In my opinion, the only valid argument against abortion is the moral one, which hinges entirely on when separate "personhood" begins. This is a question of religious/cultural dogma on which universal agreement does not exist and never will.

It sounds strange to talk about fertility and abortion at the sametime. The LOL was in bad taste. I apologize.
I hardly believe the law in question would prevent a removal of a fetus that was already dead. It wouldn't be ending the life of the fetus, it would be removing an already dead one. People are pro life, not pro keeping a dead fetus in the womb.
Please provide me a law that says a woman would not be permitted to have an already dead fetus removed. Or a law that would ptevent early birth by c-section. Or prevent any medically necessary procedure where the pregnancy endangers the mothers life. I could be wrong. So show me.

Not true. Have you ever visited a home for teens that have been placed for adoption and grown up in a facility never to have been adopted. It's heartbreaking to hear some of their stories. But they still try and have hope.

People want to adopt new born babies, they do not want to adopt teens. Unfortunate and sad, none the less.

Yep. Unwanted pregnancies turn into babies and children.
I think of the millions of children that will be born to mothers of other young children who are already neglected by their communities and state government. Those additional children, when born, are largely loved and nurtured to the best of the mother's ability. They are also one more mouth to feed. One more bottle to wash, one more diaper to buy and one more babysitter payment so that mother can work to earn the government assistance.

Yes ... and most pay the same taxes as their citizen counterparts, if not more.
